  1. LOL, you possess great skill and wit. A zinger at downstaters and Sarah Palin in one sentence. I think I will take a pass at responding and just stand on the substance.

  2. Nobody

    I think you’ve lived downstate so long you can’t recognize trailer trash when you see it.

    See this is the issue. EVERY conservative — if he or she becomes significant enough to become a threat to liberalism — is attacked.

    And yet liberals cannot come out and attack conservatives in general. 40% of the country self-identifies as conservative, only 20% liberal.

    In Delaware, slightly more voters self-identify as conservative than liberal, in spite of the tilt in Democrat voter registration. (This indicates that the Republican Party can win back “lapsed Republicans” if it becomes unified and assertive, not inert and passive.)

    So liberals in the Democrat and Republican Parties and in the media cannot come right out and attack conservatives per se.

    So instead they attack and smear EVERY conservative leader INDIVIDUALLY one by one.

    And of course there is a priority pecking order: They attack last those conservatives who are “useful idiots” who HELP attack other conservatives.

    They attack first those conservatives who pose the greatest danger of busting up traditional Democrat coalitions (like women and Blacks and Catholics and Jews) and those with the greatest chance of impacting the public debate and winning over voters.

    If you tell me you hate a certain restaurant in Wilmington, I may take that seriously as advice about that particular restaurant.

    But when — over time — I hear you hating *EVERY* restaurant in Wilmington, without exception (perhaps skipping really small insignificant ones in your comments) then I start to realize YOU DON’T LIKE *ANY* RESTAURANTS.

    Yet this entire tactic depends upon liberals believing that PEOPLE ARE DUMB.

    And when people are busy doing other things, the electorate might create the APPEARANCE of acting like dumb people — simply because their brain power is BUSY making it through their lives, focused on things that they feel are more important.

    But when people who are fundamentally smart behave like a dumb crowd — because they are just busy doing other things — they EVENTUALLY figure things out, see through you like a window pane, “read your mail,” and read you like a book.

    You can fool the people some of the time… but sooner or later they see through you and “the gig is up.”

    The problem is that more and more voters of all kinds, especially conservatives, are figuring it out… . and liberal game plays aren’t working any more.

    Northern Virginia tea party activist MARTUS SALTUS — a Hispanic Latina with a thick accent — came up to me at the Spring 2011 CPAC event and spontaneously volunteered to me her ANGER about the attacks on Christine O’Donnell, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Sharron Angle.

    Martus Saltas named those examples, not me.

    She sputtered in outrage; “I KNOW THEY ARE ATTACKING *ME* WHEN THEY ATTACK THOSE CONSERVATIVE WOMEN. !!!!” she blurted out passionately. “THEY ARE ATTACKING CONSERVATIVE WOMEN LIKE SARAH PALIN, CHRISTINE O’DONNELL, SHARRON ANGLE, AND MICHELLE BACHMANN BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVE WOMEN LIKE *ME* !!!!”

    She repeated “THEY ARE ATTACKING *ME* !!!” when they attack conservative women.

    More and more conservatives — especially Blacks, Jews, women, Catholics, and other members of the Democrat coalition are figuring it out.

    Nobody cares about Sarah Palin.

    Liberals desperately care about SILENCING and intimidating conservative women to protect the Democrat coalition that depends upon the women liberals are attacking.

  3. What are you talking about? Who is afraid to attack conservatives? Certainly not me. I attack them here most days of the week.

    What is wrong with you? Reality isn’t that hard to see. Do you need some special glasses?

  4. …you can’t recognize trailer trash when you see it.

    Have you seen her house on TV? Not quite a trailer.

    Of course, I understand what you’re trying to say. She’s just a simple red-neck dolt.

    But, somehow, she’s managed to accumulate a few million dollars, become a governor and a vice-presidential candidate, and be the subject of a popular television show.

    Have you?

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

    Welcome to Little Wilmadelphia- One of America’s Most Dangerous Cities

  5. That’s your only metric, eh?

    You know how she started accumulating that pile? By taking money for travel to Juneau, even though she telecommuted instead.

    You folks are the most easily-sheared sheep I’ve ever seen.

  6. “But, somehow, she’s managed to accumulate a few million dollars, become a governor and a vice-presidential candidate, and be the subject of a popular television show.”

    don’t exactly recall her career as governor of alaska. i do remember her failed bid for vice president. as an independent and undecided voter at the time she was a deal breaker for me. imagine how bad she seemed to informed undecided voters for me to vote for joe biden. her selection was pandering to the base of the party. she continued to pander in order to make her millions. in the end that’s all she’s ever been about.

  7. You folks are the most easily-sheared sheep I’ve ever seen.

    If Palin is “trailer trash,” what about our former tow truck driving governor with a GED?

    …don’t exactly recall her career as governor of alaska…

    Who cares whether you “recall” her career…she was the elected Governor of Alaska.

    …as an independent and undecided voter at the time she was a deal breaker for me.

    There was miles of separation between McCain and Omaba, yet you base your vote for the office of president on who the VP candidate is? When the proven moron Biden is on the Socialist-Democrat ticket?

    Do you realize that you’ve just confessed to being a fool?

  8. See, “Salty Independent” is an internet version of a “seminar caller” as Rush Limbaugh explains it.

    A “seminar caller” is a liberal who was taught in actual seminars that liberals held to get through to conservative talk shows. They were proven to go on

    Now, the pattern is well known and one doesn’t need to attend an actual seminar to follow the pattern.

    The scam is to present oneself as the listener or voter or customer that the show cares about reaching, and try to scam the host or advertisers into thinking they are losing the demographic they hope to reach.

    So the word “independent” is presented to suggest that Republicans in Delaware need independents…. SO…. the opinion of an independent should be given very great weight.

    But, there are many different kinds of independents. That’s why they are independent. They don’t fit into any standard category. They are — by definition — INDEPENDENT.

    There are independents in Delaware who are more conservative than the DEGOP. There are independents who are communists. There are independents who are simply undecided. There are independents who don’t have strong feelings and just don’t like joining parties.

    The Delaware Dept. of Elections lists as “Others” those who are registered with the Green Party, IPOD, or the Blue Enigma party.

    So Salty Independent tries to speak for all independents — or at least lull us into falling into the trap of assuming it.

    On the contrary, Salty Independent is — from the comments offered — a hard Left liberal.

    There is clearly no Republican that Salty Independent would ever vote for or support, provided that a viable Democrat is on the ballot.

    Again, however: It is always convenient to back one Republican who is bashing other Republicans. So liberals loved John McCain when McCain was bashing other Republicans. Then they turned on McCain when he was standing in his own right as a candidate, and trashed McCain, too.

    So we learn from Salty Independent that a person who would never in a million years support a center-right Republican wouldn’t support Sarah Palin.

    Okay, that is his/her right. But it really doesn’t change anything in our understanding of Sarah Palin, other than to remind us that liberals don’t like a conservative woman political leader.

  9. “If Palin is “trailer trash,” what about our former tow truck driving governor with a GED? ”

    Trailer trash with a tow license.

  10. “she was the elected Governor of Alaska.”

    And served half a term.

    She’s a grifter. She was in it for the money, as she illustrates over and over again.

  11. Sounds racist:

    Blacks use the term as an attack against whites. Use of “White trash” epithets has been extensively reported in African-American culture. …. Black parents taught their children that poor whites were “white trash”. The epithet appears in black folklore. Link

  12. Watched it. 1:45 minutes in… good analysis.

    So what was she doing with empire builders like the McCainiac and Kissinger*?

    Etc. I can only imagine these people trying to form militias to fight the form of War Inc. THAT THEY JUST CREATED if Team America could ever be convinced/terrorized back on the “homeland” to police them and their guns.

    What drills are scheduled? Is the “Able Danger” that is to be policed by an “Able Warrior” still a jihadi or is the simulation to be framed as a militia member and Nobody’s favorite targets?

    After all, there was the Oklahoma City bombing that Eric Holder helped out with. Etc. And someone like Sarah Palin will have absolutely zero to say about any drills or simulations going live in the national security state in the future even if the framework leaking out of the ADL/SPLC/DHS and into the corporate media is not Palin’s favorite form of Islamic terrorism.

    I think the ADL/SPLC types may be a little bit scared by kookville and the penetration of concepts like “false flag” into the public consciousness at this point, though. They’re also just plain getting sloppy. So it may actually be unlikely that Nobody gets his favorite form of terrism. But one can almost sense people feeling when they hear of terrorism: “I hope my main streams of corporate media tell me that it’s a militia member! Tea Party terrists, I says!” or “I hope it’s a jihadi! Democrats, weak on defense… I says!” or beyond that there’s Jonestown with :”It’s another false.gov flag! We already know, I says!” Etc.

    It gets pretty pathetic. So busy buying into the way that it’s marketed that very few stick with actual investigative journalism. After all, that would take too long. And people are busy or have short attention spans, etc.

  13. I am now deeply offended by the use of the term “trailer trash.” It is a hurtful stereotype. It is a painful reminder that many of us are relegated to the lower rungs of the economic ladder. I am troubled that such hateful language is still used in the 21st Century.

  14. I’d be more offended at being called a stupid animal/goyim by Kissinger. Fit to be used as a pawn in foreign policy and so on, the usual attitudes of empire builders and Jewish supremacists:

    He was honored as the first recipient of the Ewald von Kleist Award of the Munich Conference on Security Policy and currently serves as the chairman of Kissinger Associates, an international consulting firm. Kissinger was the “most frequent visitor” to the George W. Bush White House as an unofficial political adviser on Israel and the Middle East—including the Iraq War.
    Even at 90, this war criminal has helped to frame the Obama administration policies. Metapedia

    It seemed like palling around Palin was quoting him. I can only imagine how much they love his strategeries.

    Just think if O’Donnell was elected, then she’d be hugging him too.

  15. Oops, wrong link. But at this point even old people should be able to use some “internet traditions” themselves.

    Seriously.

    But apparently you still have your favorite types of terrism as peasants (short attention spans, etc.)… even when your political leaders are usually “palling around” with Talmudists or old “Operation Cyclone” empire builders like Brzezinski.

    How is it that your political leaders keep “palling around” with people that have created terrorism for the sake of empire building?

  16. “I am now deeply offended by the use of the term “trailer trash.” It is a hurtful stereotype. It is a painful reminder that many of us are relegated to the lower rungs of the economic ladder.”

    Yeah, but you’re not trash until your daughter gets knocked up before graduating high school and your whole family gets into drunken brawls.

    “I am troubled that such hateful language is still used in the 21st Century.”

    Don’t worry, we’re working on new, less hateful language that will still mean the same thing.

  17. If you’re watching a “Cops” episode, and you say “hey, that looks just like our living room,” you’re probably there.

  18. Nobody September 25, 2014 at 09:33 “Don’t worry, we’re working on new, less hateful language that will still mean the same thing.”

    Amusing to be sure. But let’s step back: WHAT exactly does it mean when liberals speak disdainfully of “trailer trash?”

    Here we have the Democrat Party which once again PRETENDS to represent the interests of poor people — but actually harms poor people in reality — showing the Democrat Party’s contempt for the people they claim to speak for.

    What the term “trailer trash” really means to liberals is that liberals care only about women when women vote liberal, about Blacks only when Blacks vote liberal, about the poor only when they can advance a liberal agenda by pointing to the poor.

    They don’t REALLY care about the poor. Oh, dear God, no. What, are you kidding?

    The poor, like every other excuse used for liberalism, are merely a political football in the eyes of liberals.

    So when the poor — who may very well be on government assistance if not social security at least — don’t express liberal political opinions, they are denigrated as “trailer trash.”

    The NOBLE poor are poor people who vote liberal.

    “Trailer trash” are poor people who disagree with liberals.

  19. Pretty much. Just like patriots are people who agree with conservatives.

    Also, liberals are willing to pay benefits to poor people, even the trailer trash people who vote Republican. Just because I won’t invite them to dinner doesn’t mean I think they should starve.

  20. she was a deal breaker for me because it showed everyone that the republican party wasn’t serious about winning.

  21. Salty, if Sarah Palin was a deal-breaker for you, than the Republican Party was doing everything right nominating Sarah Palin.

  22. Salty, imagine a pizza restaurant trying to make pizzas for people WHO DON’T LIKE PIZZA.

    Or imagine a burger restaurant trying to make burgers for people WHO DON’T LIKE HAMBURGERS.

    That is the flaw in the GOP trying to please people like SaltyIndependent.

    No matter how they try to cook a non-pizza pizza, you are still never going to like it.

    So trying to nominate a Republican for people who don’t like what the Republican Party stands for makes no sense.

    The reason McCain-Palin didn’t win is because pinhead RINO GOP consultants destroyed the McCain campaign the way they destroy every other GOP campaign.

    SEE:
    http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/09/meet_john_feehery_perhaps_the_worst_gop_establishment_consultant_ever_.html

    Dumb theories that NEVER work dominate the GOP and its consultants.

    And the theories always crash and burn, but the GOP insiders keep repeating the mistake.

  23. Here is the core theory of Republican insiders:

    People want SINCERETY.

    So if the GOP insiders can simply FAKE sincerety, the GOP will win.

  24. “People want SINCERETY.”

    Or even CORRECT SPELLING.

    “I am now deeply offended by the use of the term “trailer trash.” It is a hurtful stereotype. It is a painful reminder that many of us are relegated to the lower rungs of the economic ladder.”

    Who is supposed to feel good about being relegated to the lower rungs of the economic ladder?

    That’s the POINT!

    People at the lower rungs of the economic ladder need to be constantly goaded, put upon, and prodded to CLIMB that ladder, instead of lounging around all of the time. They should be scorned, ridiculed and shamed at every opportunity in order to MOTIVATE them to do something about it.

  25. well the discussions about “trailer trash” have to do with why no one should listen to their opinions.

  26. Why should anyone listen to opinions of poor people?

    Getting the input of those who are economic failures is foolish. I don’t even know why we let people vote if they don’t have jobs or the sense to get one.

    Poor people don’t contribute anything of value to society, by definition. If they did, they’d get paid for it.

  27. “the discussions about “trailer trash” have to do with why no one should listen to their opinions.”

    No, it’s to make sure people keep those opinions in perspective. I don’t expect sophisticated political thought to come out of the trailer parks, and Sarah Palin is exhibit A.

  28. Nobody September 26, 2014 at 10:19 “No, [talking about trailer trash is ] to make sure people keep those opinions in perspective. I don’t expect sophisticated political thought to come out of the trailer parks, and Sarah Palin is exhibit A.”
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I will agree that Sarah Palin is LAZY and tries to do as little as possible while still being important, just as Christine O’Donnell’s #1 problem is failing to apply herself and follow through, doing things half-way.
    I am disgusted by Sarah Palin sitting at her kitchen table and spending about 10 minutes per week sending out tweets and pretending that she is actually doing anything worthwhile, particularly after saying she is all focused on the elections (in 2010, in 2012, then now in 2014) and she never actually does anything. Sarah Palin is a bad influence on other conservatives like Christine O’Donnell, suggesting you can save the country by working only 10 minutes a week.
    But just because her dialect sounds different to your ear — and it really grates on my nerves, to be honest — doesn’t mean she is any less intelligent than you are, Nobody.
    The main difference between you, Nobody, and Sarah Palin is that you (Nobody) know SO MANY THINGS that just aren’t true.
    Nobody may know more things than Sarah Palin, but none of those things are actually true.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Nobody September 26, 2014 at 10:19 “… I don’t expect sophisticated political thought to come out of the trailer parks, …”

    Would you expect it to come out of a log cabin in the rural backwater of Illinois?

    If you don’t know who I am talking about, you prove my point.

    But our nation is based upon the rights of the people BECAUSE THEY ARE PEOPLE, not because they live up to YOUR elitist standards.

    The rights and importance of “trailer trash” (your phrase) are EQUAL to yours.

    The biggest problem here, among many in both parties, is ELITIST SNOBBERY.

    And again the problem with the elites is (like I just said) the elites know many, many things — few of which are actually true. They get an indoctrination (education) and imagine they know more than people who are more grounded in the real world.

  29. ….she was a deal breaker for me because it showed everyone that the republican party wasn’t serious about winning.

    Who is “everyone?” I felt that McCain was the “deal-breaker.” Hence, I voted for the Constitution Party candidate.

    When the GOP runs a conservative, they win. When they run a cross-the-aisle “moderate,” they lose. If they run Christy or Romney, they’ll lose. The pathetic “establishment wing” doesn’t have a clue.

    You see, they key to a GOP win is turnout, and you don’t get the base when you run a liberal.

  30. “People at the lower rungs of the economic ladder need to be constantly goaded, put upon, and prodded to CLIMB that ladder, instead of lounging around all of the time. They should be scorned, ridiculed and shamed at every opportunity in order to MOTIVATE them to do something about it.”

    Yeah, I remember Christ saying that in the Bible.

    You’re a joke, and you’re so easy to provoke into saying outrageous things that it’s hardly any fun anymore.
