Will GOP Thuggery Thwart The People’s Will At The Convention?

It seems our forefathers vision for a government, of the people, by the people and for the people, has little or no meaning for the pseudo-elite thugs of the National GOP.

The hatred against GOP front-runner Donald Trump has grown like a cancerous tumor in the hearts and souls of these pseudo-elitist thugs. They conspire behind closed about how best they can take down their own candidate and cause enough division in the party to hand Hillary Clinton the election on a silver platter.

Ironically, with each blistering attack on this seemingly impervious presidential candidate, he grows stronger in the polls and stronger in the eyes of his growing supporters. An increasingly vocal mass of growing supporters comprised of republicans, democrats and independents wait in anticipation for, “The Donald” to claim the magical number of 1237 delegates, thus fulfilling the people’s will.

Against all odds, Trump marches forward toward the coveted goal to represent the people of this great nation, seemingly invincible while the opposing democratic party hurls insults from a safe distance, while failing to remind the public of their own failings. Do the masses love “The Donald” despite his shortcomings simply because he fails to lose in anything he does? Do they love him because he champions the people’s causes or simply for his vision of “Making America Great Again?” What he says and does are a bit redundant, but they are the truth and he gives people a much needed vision for a great America to take the lead in an increasingly dangerous world.

For Whatever reason, the people love “The Donald,” for who he is and don’t apologize for it. He is successful almost beyond belief and has “Global Swagger” that will play well in America’s economic recovery and well as America’s geo-political recovery. I predict that if Trump is elected as our president, America will surge forward with new pride with a real leader at its helm.

I think not. No. If as you say you truly want to fulfill “the people’s will” then the party’s nominee would be the candidate with the greatest number of popular votes. No “magical number” of votes from state delegates is considered. Indeed no need at all for state delegates, except maybe to confirm/certify the number of popular votes from the states they represent.

Popular vote decides nothing. As you know the electoral vote will decide who is elected president.
But what I’m talking about now is the GOP obvious attempt to hijack the republican nomination at the convention with a candidate that they handpick, probably one of the rejects from the early 17 candidates, thus thwarting the will of the people.
