Will Delaware Really Profit from Reform?

Now that the federal government will pick up most of the cost for insuring the poor adults without children who otherwise qualify for Medicaid, will states, like Delaware which already do it, benefit? The Markell administration estimates that aspect of Health care reform will save Delaware 95 million dollars. That would be one ray of good news. Other reports say that states which already provide the coverage will not get as much aid as those implementing it. The official word is that the legislation is so complicated that implementation “an overwhelming challenge for the next decade”. We shall have to wait and see.

This is interesting reading. I’m fairly certain this is what is being talked about here, but as you say it is so complicated they’ll probably be trying to figure out what it all means for the next 5-10 years.
