What are the Implications of the Johnson Bill
Mar 12th, 2010 by David Anderson
QRep. Quinton Johnson wants to single out BOXING, MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, AND COMBATIVE SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT for paying for non-billable emergency services such as paramedics. This is not a terrible bill. I don’t see it as a great bill either. These services are already budgeted and in some cases funded by dedicated taxes. Should NASCAR, ice skating, hockey, football, or rugby have the same rules? Where does it stop? Will this just be the start of a new regulatory environment?

Good bill, but I’d add wife beaters.
And, ‘you doesn’t have to call me Johnson…’
