Welcome Aboard Delaware Republican Record!!!

Aug 15th, 2010 by Tennessee Walker

While Delaware Tomorrow has left the building,  Delaware Republican Record is on board setting the Record straight for the least transparent Delaware statewide candidate around.  Yes the pit bull in lipstick,  (that means a Hockey Mom for the unlettered)  is back.

Wanda is keeping all of the facts about the secret life of Christine O’Donnell.  Of course all of the relevant public documents that back up Wanda’s pieces are also up at the Delaware Republican Record.

In the first post, Wanda documents the ongoing incompetence of Team O’Donnell. The Record recounts the story of a proposal by Mike Castle to reform lobbying by elected officials and their staff.  Castle and Koons had responses for this story in the News-Journal.

When asked for comment Team O’Donnell hung up on the News-Journal.

Read the first post here.

It was a mistake for allies of O’Donnell to go after the very people who actually restrained some of the attacks on her. Unfortunately, it is a big I told you so. If O’Donnell loses a relatively close race, they will have themselves to blame as much as their opponents.

I do not expect DRR will be on our blog roll. A blog dedicated to dividing Republicans just doesn’t excite me.

  2. on 16 Aug 2010 at 07:432Windjammer

The NewsJournal is fortunate that The O’Donnell just hung up without comment. No matter what her comment would be, they would twist the truth into their incredibly liberal slant.
After the NJ’s last twisted article on O’Donnell, she’s wise to say nothing to them. There is nothing she could say that they couldn’t twist and justify.
Good Decision Christine. They just smell blood and want to sell newspapers. On the other hand you Just want to become a senator and help straighten out the country. I choose your agenda.

  3. on 16 Aug 2010 at 07:573Anon the Moron

Horse’s ass aka Tenn Walker has convinced me to vote for Christine, put a sign on my property and tell friends about her.

I was unsure at first but after seeing the repeated terrible Castle votes it has become an easy choice.

  4. on 16 Aug 2010 at 08:544Windjammer

    TW
What did you do to Anon The Moron for that viperous comment? We all have different politics but Moron’s comment is not justifiable. Do you know who this guy is?

  5. on 16 Aug 2010 at 08:545Anbupro

“A blog dedicated to dividing Republicans just doesn’t excite me.” Why is this partisan rhetoric divisive, but your partisan rhetoric is not?

  6. on 16 Aug 2010 at 09:276Pat Fish

All I can say is I am so very happy for TW and his unrestrained joy over something bad that happened to Christine O’Donnell….serial killer, vampire and part time werewolf.

Also, she’s POOR…gasp…and hung up on the News Journal!

Right there, no mind Mike Castle voting for Cap and Trade, the DISCLOSE act, and recently for more money to stop, heh, the “layoff” of teachers….I will be so happy for TW when the fine, fine Castle wins.

I again nominate TW for official Senator Castle ass-licker in chief.

    Somebody’s gotta do it.

I’m thinking Castle probably is in favor of a mosque at Ground Zero.

  7. on 16 Aug 2010 at 09:417Tennessee Walker

I never said Christine hung up on the News Journal Pat. I said Team O’Donnell did. If you had followed the link instead of getting on one of your rants, you would know just who did the hanging up.
I like to follow the facts. Childish name calling and insults are what come from Team O’Donnell.
It’s a shame one can’t disagree with people here without being called a A** licker in chief or other names over the last 3 days. It just demonstrates the total intellectual paucity of Team O’Donnell.

  8. on 16 Aug 2010 at 09:438Tennessee Walker

    “TW
What did you do to Anon The Moron for that viperous comment? We all have different politics but Moron’s comment is not justifiable. Do you know who this guy is?”

Don’t know and I don’t care but the style and the lameness of the insult suggest that Anon the Moron is also I am the truth, perry mason, and someone who should be knocking on doors in Hockessin.

  9. on 16 Aug 2010 at 11:389Windjammer

    TW

“Anon the Moron,” is a hit and run artist and therefore cannot be taken seriously. He lives for the excitement of his insults.

On the other hand, the NewsJournal is similar in nature. They have lawyers that can easily exhaust the resources of any lawsuit from a candidate they particularly don’t care for. They use their “Bully Pulpit,” to slam and denigrate anybody with impunity. They feel if they have at least two sources, they can say or print anything and cover their butts in court. It really doesn’t matter if the sources are biased or outright lying. I know because I wrote for Gannett Communications for quite a white until I graduated and left to work for a credible daily paper.

Your are right. Christine did not hang up on them, one of her staff did, and justifiably so. They are nothing but a rag and not to be taken seriously.

  10. on 16 Aug 2010 at 11:3910Pat Fish

    Well TW….I dunno…maybe you’re right.

Consider me as doing you a favor. Cause I like you.

For when Castle gets elected, and I do think he will get elected, he’s going to keep on voting for Demo/lib policies…goodness surely you don’t think he’ll change?

And all you Castle supporters will be reminded how you endorsed the man. I’d think you’d do better to just keep quiet on the matter.

I don’t think O’Donnell’s going to win although I’d sure like her to. But she’s up against God almighty odds. She also had campaign problems, we get this.

Your squeals of joy over every bad thing that happens to her, no matter how small and on this thread what you write about is so small I don’t even understand it, are going to come back and bite you. It’s not like the O’Donnell campaign needs the help of TW to lose thank you. They’re going to do that just fine all by themselves.

So why keep doing it? Why keep making yourself look tiny and small, railing stupidly against a campaign with overwhelming odds against it?

Thus I keep reminding you that when Castle wins…SENATOR Castle….well ass licker is not a very nice term but you seem to be positioning yourself for the job. I apologize for being so crude. I do still nominate you for some sort of position for kowtowing to Senator Castle however. Manservant perhaps?

    I just don’t get it.

Better to be quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

  11. on 16 Aug 2010 at 11:4511Anbupro

Pat, everything that you said about Castle is true. Unfortunately we haven’t groomed a suitable replacement. COD is unelectable. Maybe Castle, Snowe, and Collins will feel more heat in a GOP dominated senate. Irregardless, Castle is at least marginally better than Coons and electable.

  12. on 16 Aug 2010 at 11:4912Windjammer

    TW
“Paucity” good word. I didn’t know you had that kind of vocabulary. It means, smallness, usually used with numbers or quanity, but it describes the Moron correctly.

  13. on 16 Aug 2010 at 11:5713Windjammer

    Pat
Don’t give up on Christine. Remember you are not just one vote, you are one more vote. Vote what you feel in your heart

  14. on 16 Aug 2010 at 12:1314Pat Fish

Oh I’m going to vote for Christine.

And I shall pray that she wins.

But the way these jackals beat on the woman seems so small to me.

We know she’s not rich. She probably doesn’t have the money to pay for a high price campaign consultant. I don’t know how she lived for so many years though it’s possible she, I dunno, maybe hadda boyfriend support her like….God forbid…so many women do. I don’t see anybody all concerned about how Castle lived or Rollins. It seems so teeny tiny….I think less of those jackals then I do of Castle. Well not quite, but almost.

To jump up and down like a bunch of hyenas on a very obvious underdog…and let’s not forget that the Republican party in Delaware DID nominate this awful loser to run against Biden in 2008 even though they only did it cause no one else wanted the job…seems like freaking overkill, sadism almost.

UNLESS they are concerned that O’Donnell is winning this thing in which case I would be very happy.

Whatever faults O’Donnell might have, so far I’ve found them kind of small….not filing a return in time…. not explaining how she pays her personal bills which is really nobody’s business….seem really no big deal. O’Donnell’s never made any secret of her conservatism, her personal political bent. She’s run for office several times, always attracting some voters and hey every damn one of them can’t be as stupid as the Castle clones would have you believe.

While Mike Castle has repeatedly spit in the faces of those who elect him and support him and his supporters DARE to tell us what an awful person Christine O’Donnell is?

Again, I hope Christine wins. If she does not, and I understand the odds are against her, I will NOT vote for Castle in the general but I will also NOT vote for Coons. It’s not my intent to damage my country after all. I merely take the choice of essentially NOT participating in my state’s senatorial contest this year should Castle get the nomination.

If Michelle Rollins gets the nomination over Urquhart I WILL support Rollins in the general election. While I might have my suspicions about Rollins, she has not, unlike Castle, proven her duplicity in any way that I can point to.

Just as soon as Rollins goes voting for Cap and Trade, DISCLOSE or any other Dem nonsense, I will not vote for her in any form or fashion.

I still think it best for the O’Donnell detractors to stop looking like a bunch of grinning monkeys over the smallest of things…this time a stupid hang up by a campaign staffer how small is this?

I think the lot of them look small….kinda like their Castle hero.

I hope I’m wrong and I hope Christine wins. She will always have my support.

  15. on 16 Aug 2010 at 12:2415GeorgeC

Pat this is what happens when a candidate does nothing but use childish insults and smear their opponent. COD has spent her entire campaign bashing Castle, and eventually people who supported him had enough of being called Lords of the backroom, RINOs, wolves in sheep’s clothing, blah blah blah. There are posts here claiming Castle is going to jump ship without any evidence, claiming he funneled money to foreign banks, and on and on….

At some point, when all you do is blast the other candidate his supporters are going to come back with their own attacks. Truthfully none of what Christine did is even getting criticized, it was the way she has lied about it and tried to cover all of it up. The college degree, the questionable use of campaign funds, and just in general running a smear campaign usually results in this type of response. Heck she’s lucky Castle’s campaign itself hasn’t seen her as enough of a threat to really waste their time on her. If she can’t handle it she shouldn’t be in politics, or at the very least shouldn’t run the kind of campaign she’s running.

Has anyone really stopped to think about what might happen if Republicans actually won control of the Senate this fall?

If they do, it will be by the thinnest of margins and that margin is going to be provided by the likes of Mike Castle, Mark Kirk, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins…none of whom will be making speeches at CPAC this winter.

These four will in fact have the power to make or break an exceedingly thin Republican majority. Almost better off not winning that tenth seat and waiting for 2012 when Republicans are poised to make much larger gains.

  17. on 16 Aug 2010 at 19:5317Tennessee Walker

“Almost better off not winning that tenth seat and waiting for 2012 when Republicans are poised to make much larger gains.”

I don’t agree Mike. Giving McConnell the ability to make and shape the agenda for the nexst 2 years is well worth putting up with the Northeast 4.
Assigning Committees, sheduling votes, and scheduling Judicial nominees works to our advantage when we have the majority. With a longer confirmation period we could have beaten Kagan.
We can get an electable Conservative in place in 2014, either Bonini, Copeland or whoever.
Sacrificing this U.S. Senate seat in 2010 to Koons means we are lost for this seat for 20 years.

  18. on 16 Aug 2010 at 22:5018Michael P. Borgia

TW; the point to consider is, and everything you point out is important and good, what if we win that majority and can’t accomplish anything because Castle, Kirk, Snowe and Collins will effectively neuter us on most conservtive advances.

I’m not by any means advocating against Castle, don’t get me wrong. No one in their right minds wants to see Coons in this seat. I’m simply musing what scenario works better for our 2012 prospects, when Democrats are defending 25 seats. If we pick up a dozen more, then we can get to 60-62 seats and Castle’s occasional transgressions will be much less damaging.

This is the blogger that posts edited pictures of O’Donnell (with big fake tears and the like) with every post? Very childish. I don’t think I’ll be reading Delaware Republican Record.
