Palin is a celebrity and normal rules of political calculation do not apply. Look at the reception she received at Daytona. Many people believe that she is someone who is one of them, but more importantly a leader who can take on the power elite.
Palin will easily get the NASCAR Dad, Mom, and kid vote.
Agreed, I have to admit that I borrowed the analysis from a good friend, John. It is right on the mark.
Palin needs to deliver the same slap in the face to McCain that he and his handlers gave to her. She needs to tell McCain to go to hell, and support Hayworth in the AZ primary. She doesn’t owe him a damned thing.
McCain is not a conservative, by any stretch of the imagination.
