They Are both Wrong

47% believe President Bush is to blame for the economy while 45% blame President Obama. I think it would be wiser to blame the Federal Reserve and crazy tax, trade, and policies misallocating resources by distorting the markets, pushing us to rely on foreign energy sources, and building a debt based service economy. Then again I guess it is easier just to fall into partisan finger pointing.
One day we may actually want to solve our problems. I pray that day comes soon.

How about some non-partisan finger pointing? Bush was an idiot who surrounded himself with neo-con ideologues whom he placed far too much trust in. He was too loyal to his cronies at the expense of the American people. For example, “you’re doing a heck of a job Brownie”, as Brownie bungled the Katrina clean up. The financial sector melt-down started under his watch. Obama is a socialist who has surrounded himself with other socialists and unrepentant anarchists and thugs. Neither one would make a pimple on a real leader’s a$$. Although inept, Bush at least loved traditional America and her values.
Don’t hold back your true feelings now.
I think Bush was a fine leader, but I think he became so focused on national security that he didn’t provide leadership in economic security to the level we needed. We needed fundamental reform and we got stop gaps. Eventually the stop gaps stopped working.

Bush was/is a liberal internationalist. He gave us a multi-trillion Medicare/Medicaid prescription drug liability. He imprudently expanded federal influence in education. He involved us in two unsustainable and unwinnable wars, doubling the deficit. He screwed Main Street to bail-out Wall Street. He set-up an unconstitutional internal-spying agency (Homeland Security). He supported amnesty to keep the cheap-labor supply flowing. And he gave us Pelosi, Ried and Obama.
His only real success? Roberts and Alito (although he needed help).
From a conservative’s perspective; with friends like Bush, who needs enemies?
“I support nuke-ular power..”
I find it interesting that you mention the Federal Reserve, and people immediately begin critizing presidents. I think even many political junkies don’t have a clue about what the Federal Reserve really is or does; I recommend reading ‘End The Fed’ by Ron Paul.
Chris the Fed is the real economic power not the White House. Thanks for noticing.
