I think it is an insult to all people who serve in the guard or reserve to say that service in those components is not service. GWB did serve a lot more than his critics.

Rush did sign up but was rejected for medical reasons so was Pat Buchanun. The military has its standards and no one changes them.

Cheney just did not want to go, but he used legitimate deferments and did not dodge it. It is a choice for many people. I do not disrespect anyone who chooses not to serve in the Armed Forces. It takes a special commitment. That is why we take time to honor people who make it. Honestly, I would love a day to honor our Police , other law enforcement, and Fire fighters as well.

Many naive people still wonder how Hitler came to power. You need only observe the mindless fealty of today's Socialist-Democrats and their sycophants in the 'mainstream' media to see precisely how he did it. It is a form of propaganda-induced psychosis, perfected by Third Reich operatives, utilizing the new technologies of radio, film and the loudspeaker, and today enhanced by television.

Goebbels and Himmler would be proud of their new heirs- the Socialist-Democrat Party. Do you people have you no shame?

I think this is well worth sharing with Christine O'Donnell and others of her ilk: <I>"The Republican party is filled with draft dodgers and cowards. Both Bush sons avoided military service. So did Cheney and Karl Rove. So did Rush and Michael Savage. So did Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Republican Conference Chairman Jon Kyl, Senate Republican Conference Vice Chair John Cornyn, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair John Ensign, did not serve. House Minority Leader John Boehner, House Minority Whip Roy Blunt, House Republican Conference Chair Adam Putnam, House Republican Policy Committee Thaddeus McCotter, National Republican Congressional Committee Chair Tom Cole, all did not serve."</I>

Please draw any conclusion(s) that you may wish.

[...] really is a classic. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell lambasts the President for getting the award because …. wait for it…. the President should be more belligerent and desirous of war. [...]
