  1. Wow that star studded lineup must be tempting to teapartiers. Why don’t you invite COD, I understand she’s free.

  2. Go to Delaware Department of Elections and check out the 35th District Conservative Committee PAC. They are the organization that tried to unseat republican state senator Joe Booth in 2010 by backing Eric Bodenweiser.

They’re also the organization that attacked Sussex GOP Chairman Ron Sams when Sams wouldn’t placate their blood lust by resigning. They ran radio ads against Sams all day long until Sams finally relented and resigned. Ron Sams was the most successful county chairman in 2010, but that wasn’t good enough for the 35th District Conservative Committee, they had to get rid of Sams because he didn’t have COD signs on his lawn.

Instead of supporting the 35th District Conservative Committee PAC, just give your money directly to the Democrats and cut out the middle man.

Thank you very much for you vitriol and left slanted comment.
This event will benefit republican candidates in a “Take Back Our State” effort. Only a liberal posing as a republican would make a statement like yours. Go back into hiding, oh (redacted-da) one!!!

  4. Don,

Sounds like a lot of fun. I’ll be there.

Should I wear a bullet proof vest? Just kidding. :-)

  5. It will be loads of fun and most of the details are already put together and we plan on selling 1000 tickets and they’re going fast. I’ll save one for you Fay. Last years event only seated 400 and they were all sold out ahead of time. I had a great time and was sad when it was over.
This event will be statewide and is being advertised statewide.

  6. Thanks for the links. I like the way “Rehobeth” is spelled. Now that’s Sussex County pride.

  7. The bottom line is that this money will go to primary sitting Republican legislators in Sussex funded by the Sussex Region (Chairman Glen Urquhart) and the 35th District PAC.

  8. MFP 9
That’s not true. We have many great sitting legislators in Sussex and throughout the state. We simply want to take back our state, as the name indicates and it takes money to do that. We’ll all have a good time at this event and maybe a bit of unity.

  9. I never got to see those deleted links. Now my curiosity has been piqued.
Did this bull roast (PAC) really try to unseat an elected Republican?

  10. Take it back to where? The Minner administration? The Carper administration? The Castle administration?

    Who “took” Delaware from you?

  11. FBH: Now you see how conservatives like Don play the game. The deleted post contained nothing but links to the spending reports. Don doesn’t want you to see them. Very, very classy, Don. I’ve always thought that if you give people enough leeway, they will demonstrate what they are. Thanks, Don, for illustrating that principle so well.

  12. Did Don really edit out the links to the Delaware Department of Elections that showed the 35th District Conservative Committee did, in fact, donate money to unseat REPUBLICAN Joe Booth in 2010?

Deleting the links to the Department of Elections campaign finance report on the 35th District Conservative Committee should tell you everything you need to know about the PAC.

They have used their money in the past against REPUBLICANS LIKE JOE BOOTH AND RON SAMS WHO WERE DULY ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE, and they will use the money they get from this Bull Roast against Republicans in 2012.

This is NOT a Republican PAC, this is a “conservative” PAC that will use it’s money to fund Democrats and Independents against Republicans, too!

THE PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW, DON!

I didn’t delete the comment because of the links. Anybody can get the links. I deleted the comment because the commenter us.es the same IP number to comment using three different identities.
Sock Puppetry is not allowed and we are enforcing the rules on those we catch doing it. I explained that in the deleted comment. Some people just don’t get it

  14. Take a look hat the PAC and who they donated to what a crock. I would love to here if they are supporting Booth. Otherwise this is a fundraiser to help prey on good republicans.

“This is NOT a Republican PAC, this is a “conservative” PAC that will use it’s money to fund Democrats and Independents against Republicans, too!”

This is a republican PAC and the money will be used to support republican candidates only and you know it.

  16. And some of us do, Don. The rules don’t say you MUST delete the comment, just that you can. And if you really wanted us to see the documents, you would post them yourself, wouldn’t you? You apparently think everyone who reads this blog is as gullible as you are. Sorry, we’re not.

“I’ve always thought that if you give people enough leeway, they will demonstrate what they are. Thanks, Don, for illustrating that principle so well.”

I already know what you are Geezer. A very liberal progressive that comments here for the sole purpose of throwing a wrench into the republican machinery. I’ve got your number also. You just become angry when you can’t have your way.
That’s alright, I like having you comment here, it gives me a barrel of laughs on an otherwise boring day. LOL

  18. Based on what I have determined Don Ayotte has engaged and continues to engage in censorship. He deleted a post that only had links to public Campaign Finance sites.

Sadly, this is all too typical of Don Ayotte. He gets his butt kicked by a commenter so he deletes the post. Don insults commenters and engages in personal insults and name calling and if anyone responds he deletes the post as a personal attack. He has abused his authority on way too many occasions.

Don you need to reinstate the deleted post forthwith or I will post what you have deleted and thereby expose you for the blatant hypocrisy that you are.

  19. “A very liberal progressive that comments here for the sole purpose of throwing a wrench into the republican machinery.”

You have misidentified the people throwing wrenches in the party machinery. Check the mirror if you want to know the malefactor. I, on the other hand, comment here because someone has to correct your copious errors. In the quote above, for example, it should be a progressive WHO, not THAT, comments here. It’s always amusing when you actually make an issue over someone else misusing a word, given how many you make while bragging about your English degree.

“I’ve got your number also. You just become angry when you can’t have your way.”

I’m not the least bit angry. Again, check your mirror. YOU become angry whenever a commenter points out your many flaws. And then the deleting begins. Face facts, ace: You can’t take the tiniest bit of criticism without flying off the handle and abusing your censorship power.

Again, Don, if you don’t mind people seeing the links, post them yourself. Of course you won’t, though. Your excuse for not doing so should be posted in three…two…one…

  20. Don said this in #18:
This is a republican PAC and the money will be used to support republican candidates only and you know it.

Don put a link in his post to the PAC’s website. If you go to the “About” page, this is what it says:

Our goal is to help elect candidates who believe in these core principles of conservatism, regardless of their party affiliation, by recruiting volunteers for campaigns, assisting with literature drops, holding fundraisers, and networking with other grassroots organizations.

The host of this event is NOT a Republican PAC according to their own website. They used their money against Joe Booth in 2010 according to their own filing with the Department of Elections.

  21. TW
I didn’t engage in censorship. I’ve merely enforced the rules of the site as we agreed at the meeting that you failed to show up at in Wilmington. If you would do your part istead of adding to the problem, then we could have civility on this site.
David told me to close it for comments.
