Take a Breath

There was an over blown, very minor scuffle between two Republicans. One an establishment operative who was filming Christine O’Donnell and the other one of the event organizers who “wanted to stop her from being stalked”. It is annoying and tasteless to go to the extent of following people around unwelcomed when you are trying to talk to people. It was way too far. That said once the event organizers allowed the camera man into their event, they waived the right to stop him. He had a right to walk around with his camera without being harassed.
My advice to both sides is take a breath. We are all on the same team. The alliance between the right and center may at times be uneasy, but if we are going to stop the socialist express, it must be. As adults, we can push beyond our unease and get the job done. We can’t push each other so far away that September 15 we can’t stand on the same platform and fight for free enterprise and the American way.

State GOP staffer John Hawley and Evan Queitsch, a supporter of U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell got into a scuffle after a Founder’s Values group candidate forum Monday night.
During the event, Hawley had been standing in the back of the room video taping the candidates speaking. Hawley has traveled to candidate forums across the state during the campaign to record speakers.
Afterward, Hawley remained in the auditorium filming O’Donnell as she talked to attendees. When O’Donnell went to leave and Hawley followed, the trouble started. During the altercation, Hawley continued to record the interaction in a camera he had been holding (video below.)
The actual video seemed a lot more boring than the account, much to my relief. Still, image is important and we can’t have a thug politics image or a stalking image. This disturbs me all around.

Yeah, I’m kind of looking forward to EvanQ putting his hands on me. See ya at the next COD’Nial event.
Is Hawley the guy they call ‘The Camera Weenie?’
The rest of the story…..
This whole scenario was crafted before it ever happened. Tom Ross, who is a downright political mafia type, and his Lords sent Hawley there and other venues specifically to try and catch video of something they could immediately post to you tube and send to hacks like Jud Bennett to spam everyone’s email with. Ross’ little Ginger was also salivating to be in on the act. In political circles Hawley is called a “tracker”. They follow people around with the intent to catch them in a “makaka” moment. The GOP establishment is stalking O’donnell and showing up behind her to spread there filth to anyone who will listen.
I expect this crap from Democrats but the Delaware Republican leadership is scum. It’s unfortunate, I was once a faithful party person, tried to help out, became a delegate but no more. After November I am changing affiliation to Independent. Hell, I may even campaign for Coons.
Yep…that’s the Camera Weenie.
Yeah, I’m kind of looking forward to EvanQ putting his hands on me.
I’m sure you are, you big tough guy, you. I kinda figured you were like that — especially after wanting to join us in your hypothetical dream noted here.
