State Department Reports Arizona To The U.N.

Aug 31st, 2010 by Frank Knotts

In a report to the United Nation about  United State’s alleged human rights violations, the State Department has included the Arizona immigration law.

This is another attack on Arizona’s state rights to protect its citizens, by the Obama administration.

To label the law a human rights offence, and then to report it to the United Nations, demonstrates to what lengths this administration will go, to allow illegal immigration to continue.

It is also another example of Pres. Obama apologizing to the world for America. This time he is apologizing for the governor of a state, who has done nothing more than to protect her citizens from illegal immigrants who have overtaken the state of Arizona. With, I might add, the approval of her citizens, and a majority of the citizens around the nation.

In my opinion, the only thing we need to send the United Nations, is an eviction notice. Sec.of State, Hillary Clinton has sent a report of American human rights violation to an organization filled with nations such as Iran and other middle eastern nations and many African nations, where people are routinely murdered, just for being of a different sect of a religion. Where women can’t drive cars , let alone being allowed to vote.

This is the organization that the State Department and Pres. Obama feel that we must report to? Again, for what? A state where illegal immigrants have broken federal laws and where the federal government has refused to act, where that state’s legislature and governor have acted in the best interest of their citizens, within their Constitutional powers to do so, and have now been betrayed by the current Washington administration. It is disgusting.

Isn’t it just like the Socialist Obama Regime to take the side of an ineffective and corrupt UN over the sovereignty on one its states. It is the obligation and duty of the State of Arizona to protect and safeguard their borders and stand vigilant over the safety and health of their citizens.

Here is a link that contains Arizona Governor Janice Brewer’s indignant reply to Sec. of State, Hillary Clinton:

    http://janbrewer.com/uploads/08-27-10%20Letter%20to%20Secretary%20Clinton.pdf

She expresses her concern and indignation and protests the State Department’s actions against Arizona

    4. sb1070 violates those civil rights

Not even close. Wait to see what happens on appeal.

I wonder if the State Dept. excoriated the REAL human rights abusing countries on that UN panel at the same it presented this pathetic “report” about Arizona.

    What a joke we’ve become …

  5. on 31 Aug 2010 at 08:325jason330

I’m starting to get the feeling that Frank Knotts hates Obama.

  6. on 31 Aug 2010 at 08:336Rick

Entering the United States illegally is a crime. Period.

Polls indicate that the majority of Americans side with the State of Arizona, and they also show that Gov. Brewer will cruise to re-election. The Obama administration (like the Bush administration) simply refuses to enforce federal immigration statutes, or make any serious effort to prevent illegal border crossings.

Sure, polls are not courts. However, the court of public opinion will impose severe penalties on Socialist-Democrats running for re-election this coming November.

    2010…Repudiation!

  7. on 31 Aug 2010 at 10:507Apo Wichiapi

Rick – Entering the United States illegally is a crime. Period. – really??
better re-read USC title 8 again and most deportations are done under the civil administrative code – but then you don’t understand the COnstitution so why would I bother explaining immigration law to a gnat

and as far as the Obama admin not enforcing federal law ??- this administration has deported more persons (400K approx) this last fiscal year than any other administration before him

and spent more money and equiptment than any other has as well

please refer to ICE website for statistics….

but don’t let the fact get in the way of your rediculous argument ….
and keep that head under a rock – and keep babbling idiocy

  8. on 31 Aug 2010 at 11:438Paddy

Why does the Obama admin keep kissing up to the U.N. when they already think that he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread? Doesn’t he know that you can stop the sales pitch once the sale has been closed? Maybe if the President spent more time trying to win over his own countrymen rather then impress PC, world government groupthinkers he’d actually improve his chances of… scratch that, just keep trashing America Mr. President. Keep your fingers crossed that big piles of Wall Street money and worshipful MSM editorials will be enough to salvage your presidency and win you a 2nd term.

  9. on 31 Aug 2010 at 13:479think123

Frank, when did the President apologize to the world for America? You got that from Hannity or some other show business personality? I swear, you talk radio tabloid TV junkies use a language all you own.

  10. on 31 Aug 2010 at 14:4210jason330

Obama is a mooslum. GROUND ZERO!! We’s HATE THOSE MEXICAN M-FERs!! CLINTON, THE UNITED NATIONS!! MEXCIANS!!!

That about sums up the level of thinking here. Don’t look for anything to make sense. 2010…Repudiation!

    Whatever wackjobs.

  11. on 31 Aug 2010 at 15:2511mynym

this administration has deported more persons (400K approx) this last fiscal year than any other administration before him

I.e. he hates Mexicans, so it would seem that he should report himself to the U.N.

The simple fact is that no administration has made enforcing the border a major priority similar to other nations, so an increase of little enforcement to a little more enforcement may not mean much. Besides, if Obama is enforcing federal immigration laws doesn’t that mean that people might be harassed when they take their kids out for ice cream? And if so, why does he hate Mexicans?

  12. on 31 Aug 2010 at 15:3412Hube

    Whatever wackjobs.

Must be a slow day of doing your usual nothing, eh Trust Fund?

Now go back to your usual loathing of everything you disagree with, while deleting contrary voices left and right, scumbag.

  13. on 31 Aug 2010 at 16:1213alpha

Trying to stop 100% of people along the entire border is a waste of time. America is defined by its open spaces, especially in the Southwest and Northwest. Don’t fence me in, and all that.

The best and easiest way to control our borders is first to control our workplaces. Turn off the jobs magnet. I also like the idea of blocking money transfers by illegals.

  14. on 31 Aug 2010 at 17:1214Frank Knotts

And at the end alpha makes sense. I agree that we need to prosecute employers. But that doesn’t mean that all of those illegal immigrants already here get to stay. Though many would leave if there were no jobs.
I am glad to see that think123 and jason330 got the updated memo from the radical left, it goes something like this, ” label anyone who disagrees with you or the President a racist or a hater.” Whatever. By the way I don’t hate Pres. Obama, I hate his politics and what he is doing to the nation.

  15. on 31 Aug 2010 at 18:2415Rick

Yes, entering the country illegally is a crime.

…and as far as the Obama admin not enforcing federal law ??- this administration has deported more persons (400K approx) this last fiscal year than any other administration before him.

Wow. 400k out of 10-20 million. I guess BO does everything half-assed.

  16. on 31 Aug 2010 at 18:5416think123

Frank, you imagine I called you a racist or a hater just like you imagined the President is apologizing for “America? Where did think123 ever call you a racist or a hater?

    A simple “I’m sorry think123″ will suffice.

  17. on 01 Sep 2010 at 04:2417Windjammer

    Think123
“Frank, when did the President apologize to the world for America? You got that from Hannity or some other show business personality? I swear, you talk radio tabloid TV junkies use a language all you own.”

I actually saw video of Obama bowing down to, and kissing the hand of a Saudi Prince. I hand him one thing though, he did stop short of kissing the prince’s butt.
America does not owe fealty to any foreign power. We are a sovereign state and I am deeply offended by Obama’s global actions of “APOLOGIZING FOR AMERICA.”
Your are out of line in you thinking.

  18. on 01 Sep 2010 at 05:0818alpha

The Saudis are under no illusion that Obama is subservient to them. At least he didn’t try to put them in charge of our port security. Bush did the full Texas Dip for corporations.

Showing diplomatic courtesy in the local custom is neither apology nor fealty, so you need to find another example.

  19. on 01 Sep 2010 at 05:1519Windjammer

    Alpha
The old liberal trick is: When confronted with the truth, quickly change the subject and put your own spin on it.
You’ve certainly become very adept at it.
We’re all used to that old “bait and switch.”

  20. on 01 Sep 2010 at 05:2820Windjammer

    Alpha
The world viewed bowing and kissing the prince’s hand as an act of fealty and so did most of the American Citizens.
They also viewed Obama’s bowing to the Japanese Emperor in the same fashion.
Local custom has nothing to do with it. It was viewed as weakness both globally and locally.
You need to come into a global reality.
Obama is viewed both weak, inexperienced and unsure of himself by Russia and China.
They consider him a Rock Star. The world joke is: If you give this guy a stage and applaud for him, you can get anything from America. This is very bad diplomacy.

  21. on 01 Sep 2010 at 14:1821Rick

Bush used to kiss his Saudi ass, too. That’s what happens when a nation is too dumb to utilize it’s own energy resources.
