Some People Are Still Waiting
Sep 9th, 2009 by David Anderson
Another self imposed deadline has come and gone for Congressman Castle to let us in on his plans. Now we have a new deadline “hopefully at the end of September”. I have moved on personally. For those who have not, I hope you enjoy the waiting game.
“I listened to John Williams. I watched Bill Roth. I don’t want to go on indefinitely. It’s undecided. I do not know,” Castle said in a brief interview at his reception.
“I can literally argue either side of it. I’ll always wonder.”

It’s okay, if Rep Castle can’t make up his mind the people of Delaware will help him out.
That is a very strange thing to say: It is undecided…I’ll always wonder…
I guess he is completely not his own man.
Celia came back for this?
Castle is not undecided. I can’t tell you which way he will jump but he knows what he wants to do. This is political gamesmanship at its best. If Castle decides to run for Senate look for a Dem primary in the Congressional Race. The later Castle holds out, the more Carney can get commitments vis a vis Biden the younger assuring a knock down primary on the D side. The longer Castle holds out is the longer the D’s cannot line up their statewide ticket. This works in the long run for the R’s.
Let’s see Charlie Copeland gets guest slots hosting for WDEL (in place of Rick Jensen) and all the free name recognition that comes with that. There are some people who can bide their time and some who can’t. Castle can.
