In the spirit of Delaware Sportsbooks, here’s the stone-cold-lock parlay: Ron will win the primary and then the General will be won by a male.

First, curse that I can no longer edit comments (that's what happens when you leave), but second, I will make this stone-cold-lock even more interesting. Rather than saying the General winner will be a male, let's make it more detailed. New parlay, stone-cold-lock:

Ron will win the Republican primary and then the General will be won by a male whose first letter of his first name will coincide with the one-letter initial that symbolizes his party.

Smitty always wanted to be a bookie early in life and then disgraced his family by getting involved in politics.
It's as if you lived inside my house.

Smitty will even take bets on whether or not Ron wins. Smitty always wanted to be a bookie early in life and then disgraced his family by getting involved in politics.

anon#11:
No, not him. Many here can vouch for that as well as many other bloggers in the DE blogosphere.
I still stand by my bold prediction that RON wins the primary. (c'mon...think...go out of the box..."Ron" wins the primary...work with me here)

This all sounds great....I'm interested in the substance...not being in the 31st I'll wait and see what happens but it should be interesting.

I can say this about the state as a whole, the love for establishment candidates (think Mike Castle) is shrinking. I really believe it's gonna take candidates with substance. I'm not saying some of the "old heads" don't have real substance...just saying they better bring more than a few decades of GOP loyalty to the table.

TW: You know exactly who I'm talking about. And it's not a candidate in this race.
