Should Cameron be held responsible for Earth Liberation?

Director James Cameron Unleashed: Calls for gun fight with global warming skeptics: ‘I want to call those deniers out into the street at high noon and shoot it out with those boneheads’ . He also blasted Glenn Beck who has gotten death threats. Should he be responsible for that as well? Should Pelosi and Hoyer condemn this violence?
We all know that is silly because the radicals march to their own drummer. They are motivated by some of the same things that others are, but suffer from some disconnect. Some people sale their gas guzzler while the radicals set fire to car dealerships. Some people, like our governor, decide to put solar panels on their roof. Radicals threaten Oil executives and barge in on stockholder meetings. Some people will educate or even participate in peaceful civil disobedience to slow down abortion. Radicals kill abortionists. Some people promote alternatives to fur and leather. Radicals attack people who wear them. Some people will fight to repeal the mistake called health care reform. Radicals leave death threats to supporters. Some people will couragously stand against Jim Crow through protest. Radicals riot. You get the point. Radicals are not guided by the mainstream and it is disingenuous to pretend otherwise. Unfortunately that pretense is often used to undermine civil rights and dissent.
Putin used radicals as an excuse to shut down his opposition and take Russia back to a dictatorship. Be very watchful of those in power who try to take minor incidents and use them to whip up suspicion and hatred of their political opposition. It is interesting that the Democrats are using fear of “conservative blogger” and suppose threats to bolster their fundraising. Can anyone spell Reichstag? For the historically challenged The Reichstag (Germany’s Parliament) building burned and was blamed on radicals (though later it was thought to have been Hitler’s allies staging an incident a month before the elections). Hitler persuaded President Hindenburg to sign an emergency decree suspending all civil rights and arresting and executing anyone deemed a suspicious person. Don’t over read where I am going. I am simply saying that the technique of taking an incident and trying to use it to gain sympathy before an election has often been used by leaders with diminishing electoral prospects. President Obama is not Putin or Hitler to be sure, but he does seem to understand how to play the game.
