Remembering the Hood Casulties
Nov 15th, 2009 by David Anderson
They were active duty, reservists, and civilians. What they had in common was a dedication to serving America. I am disgusted with the lack of honor shown by a man who would shoot those who came to him for help or came to work to help others. They came vulnerable, unarmed, and trusting. They left tramatized and injured. 13 did not survive at all in reality 14. There is another victim. An unborn child. Yes, the man shot a pregnant woman. The dishonor of this “Soldier of Allah” abounds.
I would like you to check out this CNN article on the 13. The bio/obituaries show us some great Americans.
We can not forget the wounded either this blogger started compiling their stories and was even on site for pictures of the event.
More important than remembering our foes is honoring the people they harmed. They want us to live in fear of them. Let us live with courage.
Let this be a reminder that our people are fighting a dishonorable and evil foe. They target people who are riding school buses, shopping, going to religious services, or voting. They are at war with modern life. It is a contest of worlds. Unlike the what right do we have to impose our view of morality crowd, I believe that we must explain how wrong they are. How dishonorable this movement is. How unworthy of allegience it is. This is one of the defining struggles of the early 21st century. It is one that we cannot let political correctness undermine our ability to win it.
