Pro-Illegal!?!
May 27th, 2010 by Timothy Pancoast
This is really getting inane. A Massachusetts legislator was rear-ended by a drunk driving illegal immigrant that obviously didn’t have a valid driver’s license. Rep. Moran says that the illegal alien was just as hurt and afraid as anyone else would have been immediately after the crash, but when the police arrived and started to tell to the drunk driver the charges he would face the illegal alien became belligerent, and started laughing at them.
Several days after the incident Rep. Moran started talking to the press and made it very clear that he still maintains his pro-immigrant stance. Good. Then he went further to say that he still has what he calls a “pro-illegal” stance. Irrational
To everyone that considers themselves to be pro-illegal I have a modest proposal for you. I will take your life savings, and pack you into the back of a crowded truck with a bunch of other people that gave me their life savings. If you are prepared to pay enough I can probably make space for your whole family. They might have to be packed into the next shipment though because these trucks can get really crowded. If you can’t afford it or don’t want to, then you will have to leave your family behind. I will then proceed to drive you over the course of several warm and sunny summer days across the country and down to our border with Mexico.
Don’t worry about your health and safety. I am sure we can find some houses along the way with their water hoses left out so that we will have plenty to drink. I will also have several of my well armed friends with me. We all have military training so you can be confident that we know what we are doing. No one is going to come in and get you and you aren’t getting out.
When we get to the border we will wait till dark and then help you climb over, or burrow under the fence. I’ll even put the floor mats over the fence so that you don’t get cut up too bad. Once you get over here are the instructions for you to meet up with our contacts on the other side. They will help you prepare false documents and id so that you can move around a little easier down there. Trust me they have a lot of experience. They have been providing these services for illegal immigrants entering the US for decades.
So if you are really pro-illegal immigrant than why don’t you go try and be one. I’d gladly deport some of these legislators along side the illegal aliens they support so much. That way they can show solidarity with the illegals. We would find out really quickly just how pro-illegal they really are. If they are still pro-illegal after living under that status than I will be happy to let them stay that way and not come home. Maybe they will even meet someone special in their new land to have a child with so they will have an anchor to help keep them there.
Seriously, these people who are in positions of trust, where they are helping to make our laws, don’t seem to be thinking about what they are saying. I don’t believe Rep. Moran would be pro-illegal if he took the time to think about what illegal immigration really meant. I am pro-immigration. Immigration is a good thing for our country, and in my opinion it is good tor other countries too. However, I am not pro-illegal. Illegal is bad for all countries, and it isn’t good for people either.

I like the way Timothy Pancoast switches gears between legal and illegal immigration in this post.
For the record, I’m all for Timothy Pancoast and his GOP hermanos vilifying America’s 45 million Latino’s. I think this is a GOP strategy that works for everybody.
LOL … it’s clear (except to trust funders) that Timothy is speaking about illegal immigrants.
And the entitlement, elitist, “progressive” mentality you continually exhibit is beyond laughable. Indeed — let’s assume that, because one is Latino, they’re in favor of illegal immigration. Weird how 70% in AZ are in favor of their new law … that 30% must be all Hispanic, right?
Another “progressive” showing the bigotry of low expectations.
Maybe Hube is right and I should clam up? Like I said, the GOP’s strategy of turning all Spanish speaking brown people into the enemy is a winner in my book.
Ah yes, continual, ridiculously paper thin simple statements from a simple mind.
You’d think a trust funder could better. A LOT better. Just too lazy, I suppose.
Hube,
I understand that the wingnut-osphere is in a tizzy, and I welcome that. We have no differences on this. We are of one mind.
I’m sorry Jason, is it legal if you burrow under the fence and illegal if you climb over it. I shift gears in this blog to the extent that Rep. Moran switched gears between the two while talking to the press in the article and video I linked to.
In reality it is Representative Moran and people like him that fail to differenciate between the people that come here legally and those that are here illegally. I respect law abiding immigrants, reguardless of what nation they come from. I think that Rep. Moran, rather than honoring the legal immigrants through his efforts in behalf of illegal immigrants, does them a disservice by lumping the illegal and legal immigrant populations together.
Oh and to all of the people that missed my poorly emphasised reference to “A Modest Proposal” I apologize. I think I’ll go back and add some now.

Timothy Pancoast,
He said “immigrant rights.” You want to turn that into being pro-illegal, and that’s fine with me. In fact, if you read this thread, I actually applaud your efforts to force America’s 45 million hispanics into the Democratic Party.
We are on the same page here. No need for discord.
Wait — Trust Fund found one instance of Tim not using “illegal” when the entire post is covered with the term?
Yet, Trustie lumps all Hispanics into the pro-illegal alien/law-breaker crowd. Again, “progressive” bigotry is acceptable in his minute world.
Why would any “Spanish speaking brown people” want to associate themselves with an arrogant turd like Jason330 and the Democratic Party who merely see them as voting chattle that a few platitudes and sporatic handouts won’t keep in line? You know, just like its done by the Marxist oligarchs back home.
Most Hispanic friends and associates of mine, whose families either immigrated here legally within the past generation or two, or trace their lines back to the 1600′s in “New Spain”, care more about the rule of law than any of this open borders, ethno-pandering nonsense being esposed by Democrats and some jelly-spined Republicans.
Jason, listen to the video in the article I linked to. He does say he is still pro-immigrant, then he indicates that he is even pro-illegal immigrant. He is the one that is making legal immigration status and illegal status interchangeable. I think that is dissrespectful to the millions, including Rep. Moran’s own relatives that were first generation legal American immigrants from Ireland.
“Why would any “Spanish speaking brown people” want to associate themselves with an arrogant turd like Jason330 and the Democratic Party?”
Easy. Because the alternative is associating with Republicans.
I want people here in the United States as United States Citizens. From whatever country they may be from if they will be welcome if that is their goal and they are willing to do it above board. To me citizenship means more than just being a resident or working here. It means you love or at least respect this country. Illegal immigration is an attempt to build a relationship based on lies and deception. Anyone who has ever been in a bad relationship should know how that ends up.
If they don’t want to be a citizen but just want to visit, I welcome visitors also, as long as they have enough courtesy and respect to let us know they are coming over and don’t abuse our hospitality while they are here.
Easy. Because the alternative is associating with Republicans.
Now that sure is some hard-hitting heavy thinking.
Obama wages three (yes, 3) simultaneous wars against brown people in various place around the world and yet remains 330′s and the leftist scum’s most beloved and most awesomest politician and messiah ever!
Obama and the Democrat Socialist’s cynical self serving embrace of illegal immigration while acting like their best Karl Rove by trying to make it a totally phony and contrived wedge issue shows their true colors as Bush III: The Perfecting.
Okay I guess. Just one note.
It is …Democratic Socialist’s cynical self serving embrace…
Carry on Patriot!!
Riiiiight. You’re just a bunch of Social Democratics eh?
A simple solution would be to enact the same law in America as Mexico has towards illegal residents.
Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.
The law also says Mexico can deport foreigners who are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” violate Mexican law, are not “physically or mentally healthy” or lack the “necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents.

Mike Protack
Mike: Calderón said in an interview with Wolf Blitzer that many of those provisions have been changed:
But that doesn’t mean Mexico’s law is any different from Arizona’s, thus warranting Calderón’s castigation. In fact, Mexico’s “new” laws are still a lot tougher than AZ’s. Just read that article linked above.
“A simple solution would be to enact the same law in America as Mexico has towards illegal residents.”
I always favored that approach. Keep in mind Turst Funder would still say that Republicans are racists for doing the same exact thing Mexicans do to their immigrants.
I used to spend my summers (starting at age 5) with my grandparents, in Western Massachusetts. We were in a rural area in the Berkshires, about ten miles west of the Connecticut River.
Along the western bank of the Connecticut, they grow cigar-wrapper tobacco. They would use Latino itinerant labor to pick it, and the laborers would move-on after the harvest.
Once LBJ and the Socialist-Democrat Congress established the welfare state, these laborors simply moved-in to subsidized housing, primarily in the cities; Springfield, Westfield, Chicopee, etc. Now, those cities are home to generations of welfare recipients, and once-vibrant Main Streets have been, for decades, either delapidated or boarded-up. Similar to what is now happening in Georgetown.
