President Obama did the right thing

It was a case of better late than never when he agreed with the military on the release of the rest of the detainee abuse criminal trial photos. Too bad the radical fringe of his own party rather stand with the ACLU than the President and our troops. Shame on Nancy Pelosi , Henry Waxman, the so called Progressive Caucus, and the ACLU. After the vote, the Speaker had a moment of silence for fallen soldiers.
After the shooting of PVT William Long which was inspired by the hateful rhetoric against our troops, you would think they would at least have an up or down vote and not hide behind conference reports. Add to this the administration not understanding that war detainees–particularly unlawful combatants– do not have Miranda rights and one sometimes has to wonder what happen to the Washington Democrats.
They say that they care about our troops, but their heart is with the ACLU. They are betraying the 1/3 of the military who supported the Democrats and the faith that Americans gave them to keep us safe.
In other news the government classifies coverage of space rocks which cause fireballs. You have to hand it to the Democrats on setting priorities.
