The missile “shield” was nothing but a threat against Russia on the phony pretext of an Iranian threat to New Jersey.

How can this be an “abandonment” of Eastern Europe to the evil Russians, when for years now the US has been insisting it has nothing to do with Russia, but is designed to defended from Iran!?

Use your bloody brains!

Now the plan has (temporarily) shifted due to Netanyahu’s orders to Obama.

However, the assault against Russia will now shit to the Black Sea and renewed US support for Muslim terrorists in the Kavkaz.

The systems that were to go to Poland and Czechoslovakia were purely defensive and presented no threat to anything on Russian territory.

Putin is a thug. Bush was foolish to believe that he could reason with him but not so foolish as to knuckle under his every demand.

We have yet to see Obama demonstrate anything other than cleverness or charm. Perhaps he is stupid enough to believe that the attributes that he used to seduce a majority of the electorate constitute the ability to charm the real monsters of the world.

The Russians do not care about your fringe theories of critical thinking or your misunderstanding of their capabilities: Iskander missiles are lightweight, high-precision, surface-to-surface rockets that can be launched quickly from mobile platforms and carry nuclear or conventional payloads.

There were No nuclear weapons to go into Poland or Czech Republic. A grand total of 10 missles were scheduled for Poland which is hardly a threat to the Russian ICBM arsenal. Go take a course in critical thinking and writing. Some facts might be more impressive then non sequitors.

I can’t read someone else’s mind so I will speak for myself. Russia is a competitor not an enemy. That does not mean they are friends. We need to insure that we get something in return for our efforts. This was a golden opportunity to solve the problem with Iran by sidelining the Russian component. Iran would have been forced to the negotiating table if Russia dropped its backing. This made very little sense in the method that it was rolled out. They may be adults, but they showed that as a bunch of Senators they don’t know how to run a fruit stand let alone international diplomacy.
