Superstar Pat Boone Endorses Glen Urquhart
Glen Urquhart Candidate for Congress has one of the most significant recording artists of the twentieth century “singing his praises”. Former number one recording artist and Academy award nominee (for the song “April Love”) Pat Boone endorsed and recorded a commercial “singing the praises” of Glen Urquhart, the former Reagan nominee and Conservative Republican Candidate for Congress. Pat Boone was second only to Elvis Presley in sales and charting in the 1950’s, is currently in the top ten of all time sales, and currently owns a record label, which has produced 30 gold recordings.
Mr. Pat Boone began his political activism in 1966 with his endorsement of Ronald Reagan so this endorsement of Glen Urquhart as one of the heirs of the Reagan tradition of smaller government and traditional American virtues is part of that legacy.
Mr. Urquhart was both honored and humbled by the endorsement. “It is hard to believe that a kid who started out plumbing with his father and became the first one in his family to go to college, could get Pat Boone’s endorsement”, responded Mr. Urquhart. “I hope the voters honor me with their endorsement”.
Businessman Glen Urquhart is a former Reagan appointee as Chairman of the National Planning Commission and the conservative candidate in the Republican Primary for Delaware’s U. S. Representative seat.

“Superstar Pat Boone…”
Hilarious.
Breaking: Superstar John Phillip Sousa Endorses Glen Urquhart From the Grave
70% of likely primary voters are over 55. Laugh if you like, but Pat Boone’s endorsement may be more valuable than almost any politician’s except one or two.
Good point. I’m still laughing though.
If Rollins gets endorsed by Matlock it’s all over.
We’ll see who’s laughing after the primary.
At last, a verifiable true statement from a wingnut commenter.
Pat Boone????? C’mon, all celebrity endorsements should be banned as worthless. Why does anyone think that Boone knows anything about the political process or what it takes to be a good Representative? I don’t care what Pat Boone thinks anymore than I care what Roseanne Cash thinks (she was here for Rollins) or what Michael Moore thinks or anyone in the entertainment business thinks. Give me a break.
Nazi gaffe Urquhart, the big time real estate developer, ultimately can’t win in Delaware. His ultra conservative values may play well in Sussex County in the Republican primary, but he can’t win a general election in a moderate (oh my, there’s that bad word) state with 100,000 more D’s than R’s.
Rollins is endorsed by Roseanne Cash and the entire John and June Cash family.
How is Pat Boone a bigger celebrity than Roseanne Cash? David your role in the Urquhart campaign is muddling your thinking. Do you really want to get into a contest of who gets the bigger celebrity to endorse you?
You have to joking. Roseanne Cash is cool. She was grammy nominated and had 3 number one hits. She is not her father and step mother on the scale of celebrities. When she sales about another 44 million, she can start to get in Pat Boone’s territory. He is in the top ten all time in sales, she is not in the top 100.
Pat Boone is also a known conservative activist since the 1966 Reagan election and a political columnist. Roseanne is best known for being a pro-abortion advocate politically unlike her Dad and Step-mom. Most Americans would not even recognize her name unless she said I am Johnny Cash’s daughter. Elvis opened for Pat Boone. He is considered by music experts one of the biggest artists of 20th century. I can’t think ll dead MJ, Elvis, Frank, Ray, Johnny, most of the Beatles are all dead.
He still sells and manages more gold acts than about anyone with his label. The man has more musical accomplishments than almost any person living. He also has critical acting aclaim.
I won’t knock anyone else, but please don’t try to compare accomplishments with a straight face.
Larry Flynt once published a photograph of of Pat Boone sticking his junk in a box.

Yes. That’s Pat Boone’s junk in a box. I’m shocked and appalled that Urkel accepted the endorsement of someone who put his junk in a box.
They’ve gone straight to Plaid.
How is Pat Boone a bigger celebrity than Roseanne Cash?
Because nobody’s heard of Roseann Cash?
