Oral Roberts 1918-2009

Reverend Oral Roberts went to be with our Lord today. Few people have affected Christianity in their generation as did he. The healing revivial, the charismatic movement, the mainstreaming of the Pentecostal movement, seed faith, the prayer language, emphasis on the goodness of GOD, and the restoration idea of each person communing with GOD as a two way experience were all areas in which he was a leader globally. He transformed not only the Pentecostal movement, but impacted modern Christianity.
Just bringing to the world’s attention that “GOD is a good GOD” is worthy of a life’s work. He was a modern apostle. While he will be missed, he will not be forgotten especially by those of us who were blessed by Oral Roberts University.
