BO's doing his part- they've swithced from $200-a-pound Kobe beef to filet mignon. Castro did the same thing in Cuba, years ago..

Unfortunately it does none of that. It raises costs of some businesses, raises taxes on health care equipment which raises costs, either raises taxes on health benefits or the top income earners which includes small businesses. It is horrible in its design and accomplishes very little that it was advertised to do. It will actually raise premiums and lower our competitiveness.

The White House thinks they can “pivot” from health care to the economy next year

That is exactly how you execute a Keynesian stimulus. You dump the stimulus money, then when the economy starts to recover you "pivot" and focus on expenditures. It is rarely executed well by Washington. Obama is definitely on the spot to perform but he hasn't failed yet.

The extra twist is that the health care bill will help recovery by lowering costs iverall and reducing barriers to entrepreneurship (employee lock-in, lack of access to pools, etc).

Yes the President thinks we are idiots.
http://delawarerepublican.wordpress.com/2009/11/13/cut-spending/

The facts are simple, The White House thinks they can "pivot" from health care to the economy next year to soften the obvious butt kicking they got this month at the polls.

I ask one simple thing, the next time Obama speaks on a item important to the country, could he be under oath because he is the biggest liar in America.
