New Grandfather

Last Monday, July 13, my daughter and her husband enjoyed the birth of their firstborn, a son. My wife and I welcomed our first grandchild. We were all very happy.
I wish I could describe my feelings at the moment I first saw him, even the first time I held him. Maybe the only way to describe those feelings is in one word: “wow”. I had planned to say something when I first held him, a blessing over him, but I could barely speak.
