New Contributors

I am pleased to say that we are adding 3 new contributors to Delaware Politics. All three have commented on this blog in the past. You will enjoy their insight and perspective even more. I won’t promise that you will always agree with them or that they will agree with each other, but that is part of the fun.
The first two will be joining us this week. These two are both involved on the ground with the issues that matter. On paper they come from very different perspectives. One is by background part of the establishment, and the other is part of the new wave. In reality, they both care very deeply about common sense values, fiscal integrity, standing up for the people, and the cause of liberty.
One comes from the Republican party and is one of our wisemen. I have known him for well over a decade and trust his counsel and wisdom. I have discussed with him some of his first posts on both national and local issues, and it is even more than I hoped for. At this point and time his identity will be concealed. Don’t strain yourself about guessing who it is because that will be revealed in its own time. The power of his/her ideas will be enough to engage your intellect.
The other is one of the newer faces to local politics. He comes from a perspective not really represented in our Delaware blog community. Tim Pancoast is known to you as Tim J. I met him fighting the good fight for our values and governing philosophy. We kept in communication. Tim is a hard working book keeper who is going for his bachelors in accounting. He was involved with the Tea Parties, and is now part of the 9-12 Delaware Patriots. He was responsible for creating and now heads their Press Release committee. He is a natural and a rising star. He is dedicated to returning America to common sense. Yes, ladies he is single.
I welcome both of you to Delaware Politics.

Thanks for the introduction David. I hope I can keep things lively here, and I am sure everyone will continue to help me learn about the political environment in Delaware and the nation. Perhaps in the process I will be able to return the favor.
I am going to start my first post with a few notes I took during Congressman Castle’s listening tour about Health Care Reform in Kent County.
