Who cares? Does this mean she will get Bud a cozy job in city govt?

  2. on 22 Dec 2009 at 23:112David Anderson

She didn’t get him one in state government. Bud had a state job about a year before she was elected. Bud is highly qualified and does not need his wife to make positions for him.

  3. on 22 Dec 2009 at 23:173RSC357

David, you know nothing about the things you speak of here. She pulled every string she could to make sure Buds position was funded while she sat on JFC. While some wanted to cut his position, she twisted arms (Danberg) to make sure he kept Bud. So much for R’s wanting to cut worthless state spending. Only when it doesnt hurt Nancys pocketbook.

  4. on 23 Dec 2009 at 10:304David Anderson

Then why did he have the job of which you speak before she had her seat on the JFC? I know the time lines, you don’t. Unfortunately, so much of the JFC was behind closed doors that you can say anyone said anything, I can’t contest or confirm that. That is why the pols should have favored open government (as nancy did). It protects them as well. I good give you a link on this, but you likely don’t care about the facts. If you do, ask.

  5. on 24 Dec 2009 at 14:155RSC357

Yea, David. How silly of me to think that she never influenced anyone? Can you explain to me why Bud was given that state job when it was never posted and no one else was EVER interviewed? Oh, and while youre at it, why was it funded in epilouge laungauge in the JFC bill? Youre right silly me, I dont know any of the facts or what im talking about…..

The program saved the state a tremendous amount of money. The people who requested the language where Democrats who wanted to borrow him to design the pilot program. They invetigated contracting it out. He had more expertise than a lot of people who were outside.

The epilogue language did not create a new position. It allowed him to keep his job with Larry Sullivan while doing duties with the department of corrections. How sinister! Knock them for doing something legally and above board.

This all occurred before she had a voting spot on the committee.

Nancy Wagner abstained from anything that had to with her husband as is best practice.

To believe what you say, she would have had to have gotten him the job before she was even elected then put the language to upgrade the postition before she had the postion on the committee. Please explain her extraordinary skills of influence before she had any and why Supreme Court Justice Myron Steele (a Democrat) praised the job done by Bud Wagner and requested that it continue.
