Lt. Col. Alan West

Dec 15th, 2009 by Tennessee Walker

The Democrats are always saying that the GOP has a weak and short bench. Democrats have perfected the art of prevaricating but this video is ample proof that the Republican Party has ordinary Americans who can stand up to the best lifelong politician that the Democrats can bring up.

Well Liberal Democrats, quake in your shoes. I bring you Lt. Col West.

Lt. Col. Alan West is a regular American who grew up in Atlanta Ga.

Lt. Col. West took advantage of the tremendous opportunities that our Military gives to hard working and ambitious individuals who achieve and excel.

After Watching Lt. Col. West all we can do is say is Right on!!!!

People ask me all the time what the Republican Party stands for.
From here on out I am going to say “just listen to Lt. Col. West. He articulates what we believe better than anyone I have ever heard.”

How about a 2012 ticket of Sarah Palin and Alan West???
Does anyone see a landslide with that ticket???

I do.

    Nobody messes with Alan We!

Family Guy fans will get that.

    Typical JJ/Sharpton response:

” He doesn’t represent black people” or “he’s not black enough.”

Lt. Col. West is my new hero…I want him to come and speak to the people of the city of Wilmington.

“Education is the great equalizer,” he says. “With a good education, any child in America can live his dream.” – Lt. Col. West

It’s all about the education system.

Should I expect you at my door with a bayonet? This sort of talk is shameful.

“Should I expect you at my door with a bayonet? This sort of talk is shameful.”

What is shameful about saying Education is the Great Equalizer?

  7. on 16 Dec 2009 at 23:287David Anderson

It was not shameful talk when Al Gore and move on were saying it.

  8. on 17 Dec 2009 at 07:368pandora

    Link?

  9. on 17 Dec 2009 at 11:189Rick

This sort of talk is shameful.

It’s good that DP believes in the free exchange of ideas, isn’t it pandora? Unlike your Delaware ‘Liberal,’ where Soviet-style censorship is used to ‘win’ arguments. Now, that’s ‘shameful.’

  10. on 17 Dec 2009 at 14:1810Hube

This sort of talk is shameful.

So says the person who associates with the people she does. Which means, her words carry ZERO weight.

Why do we continue to debate with people who actually believe that man made sources are the leading cause of global climate change which has only been occuring since the formation of the planet? Allow them to attend the debate, but like the liberals in Congress do to the Republicans, ignore them.

  12. on 17 Dec 2009 at 19:0412pandora

    So… no link? Thought so.

America’s Best Days: 66% Favor Smaller Government With Fewer Services, Lower Taxes

    Rasmussen Reports ^ | 12/17/2009
Sixty-six percent (66%) of U.S. voters prefer a smaller government with fewer services and lower taxes over a more active government with more services and higher taxes. That’s the second highest finding of the year: In August at the height of the congressional town hall controversies over the health care plan, 70% felt that way. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 22% prefer a government with more services and higher taxes. Eleven percent (11%) aren’t sure which is best. Eighty-eight percent (88%) of Republicans and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party like a…

Hmmm… still no bayonet link. How embarrassing.

  15. on 19 Dec 2009 at 00:2515David Anderson

I know that you are not intellectually curious enough to look up even one of Al Gore’s speeches such as his acceptance speech in 2000 which talked of fighting for America or Americans all throughout or the speech earlier this year in which he made analogy with Churchill to the fight against GW. I have no problems with colorful speeches and analogies. That is a global tradition and certainly an Anglo-American one. I think that they make the point better. My problem is with you calling them shameful and acting like someone is calling for raiding homes.

It is so laughable that even though I had several links, I saw no point to posting them. Everyone sees the argument as an unusually weak one that you make. No one is perfect all of the time Pandora so try again in another post. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/onpolitics/elections/goretext081700.htm
