Lady In Red
Nov 8th, 2009 by Frank Knotts
Isn’t it ironic that speaker Pelosi would wear a red dress on the day that she was able to force socialized health care through the U.S. House of Representatives.
I mean since if this legislation gets passed, it will bleed the American working class into economic death, and take the nation down with it.
The vote was narrow, 220-215 with some Democrats voting against. And since I have been busting on Mike Castle quite a bit lately, it looks as if he voted against it also, oh was that redundant ?
For all of you hard-working people out there who believe that this so-called reform will lower the cost of insurance for you, sorry not . This so-called reform is intended to do nothing but to force you and other hard-working Americans to pay for the insurance of non working Americans, this will drive up the cost to tax payers and give just another free ride to the free loaders and worse yet, it will create even more free loaders.
We can only hope that as the Senate passes a bill , and then as the two houses of congress attempt to bring the two versions together, that it takes long enough to impact the 2010 election and that we as American voters exercise our right and our duty to vote out those who would change the very fabric of America.
And just as a side note, if you look very carefully at the photo I used , you can see the President with his hand up Speaker Pelosi’s back , making her smile and nod her head .

She wore red because her olive-green jumpsuit was in the cleaners.
Honest question: Is Christine O’Donnell running against Mike Castle?
I heard that she was going to have some kind of campaign event in Dover. Was that cancelled? I can’t find any coverage of it.
The Pelosi Plan does nothing to increase wellness or contain costs while adding a ton of government.
Take a look at the chart on this post.

Hopefully, the plan will die in the Senate before it kills people on the streets or jobs.

Christine O’Donnell attended a 9-12 Delaware Patriots/Tea Party Rally in Dover. She was welcome there as were all candidates and potential candidates, however it was not her event. She set up a campaign booth and she did give a speech concerning the importance of elections and voting, however she has said she will not make an official campaign kick-off announcement until she has raised $100,000, which is the minimum amount she feels she would need to start a reasonable campaign for Senate.
As to the article, Red with a capital C was the appropriate color for Speaker Pelosi. She should wear it all the time now and just make it official.
While I still have no intention to vote for Rep. Castle, I am glad that he at least did his job this time. Delawareans spoke loud enough and long enough that he could not ignore us.
I too congratulate our Congressman. This is why I would support him if he can make it pass a superior primary candidate.
20 years after the fall of communism and we find the rise of socialism in America.
O’Donnell can’t beat Castle; period. In a liberal state like Delaware, Castle is about the best you can expect. He did vote against the bill. If we lived in Wyoming, or even Virgina, I would reject Castle as I rejected McCain. But, not here in Delaware.
We need that Senate seat!
