Johnston Lied: Palins Vindicated Yet Again

It seems everytime the light of truth shines, allegations against the Palins fall apart. The heated attempts at the total personal and professional destruction are disgusting. Ethics complaints that were fraudulent. Hacking emails, digging through garbage, and sending spies to be next door would normally be viewed as cellar politics, but they weren’t low enough. Now we see clearly the exploitation of Levi Johnston. What I hope is also seen clearly is the evil behind the hard left. They do not care about hurting innocent people. They just care about power. The proper punishment would be to deprive them of that prize.
One does not have to agree with Sarah Palin politically nor find her qualified for the highest office to reject this form of politics. One can be critical of her for her choices and stands. One can question her qualifications. Those are fair game. Paying off her daughters ex-boyfriend to lie about the family is not. Maybe Levi Johnston’s fit of conscience will help restore us to a system of politics which focuses upon serving the people instead of perpetuating failed policies. Both parties are guilty to some level, but I have to say the Palin attacks are a new low.
I have often said that the personal attacks are a screen from facing the real issues. This is just more proof. While Palin speaks about the big issues of life, energy, culture, debt, and economic revival, the critics best answer is found in false personal attacks. It is time for us to behave like politics is serious business because it is. We are being called upon to decide how we shall live for a generation or more. It is time we put our energies in that direction.
Why do you believe Levi now?
The degree of Socialist-Democrats’ fear of an individual (media or politician) is in direct proportion to the vitriol expressed.
Too easy, follow along anon. One his account now better matches every other witness. He always seemed uneasy and at times contradictory about what he said before, but he was paid large sums of money before he said them. He gets no benefit but a clean conscience now. No money, ridicule, and humiliation are not motivations for lying. People lie for their benefit not their detriment.
The Palins had already forgiven him, she had announced that publicly and would not spar. He had gone to them privately it now comes out. His public statement was therefore a step of courage which was of less personal benefit (respect of the Palin family) than personal cost (see above).
Democrats digging harder than ever for dirt on Republicans

The Democratic Party is moving faster and more aggressively than in previous election years to dig up unflattering details about Republican challengers. In House races from New Jersey to Ohio to California, Democratic operatives are seizing on evidence of GOP candidates’ unpaid income taxes, property tax breaks and ties to financial firms that received taxpayer bailout money.
In recent weeks, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has circulated information to local reporters about Republican candidates in close races. Among the claims:
– That Jim Renacci of Ohio once owed nearly $1.4 million in unpaid state taxes.
– That David Harmer of California received $160,000 in bonus and severance pay from a firm that got a federal bailout.
– That Jon Runyan of New Jersey got a legal break in property taxes for his 25-acre homestead by qualifying for a farmland assessment thanks to his four donkeys.

Levi Johnston was a young man smarting from a rejection by Bristol Palin. He was befriended by sneaky, sly, liberal reporters who used his naivete to generate some negative comments. His apology is a positive step for his growth from being a self centered immature teen (many teens fall into this category) to accepting adult responsibility.
Anyone who has been around teens knows that one discounts their statements when they are upset. Liberal reporters used him like klenex and then tossed him when he coulc no longer supply the dirt. I wish the young man well.
