It is official, unoffically speaking

2429 to 2105– just say Representative Elect Ruth Briggs King. Congratulations to all of the people who made it happen. I also congratulate Mr. Robinson on a strong race. Most of all I congratulate the voters for a strong turnout for a special election (close to 1/3 of the voters). They saw through the Acorn, Sierra Club, AFL-CIO nonsense and voted based upon the issues. Thanks to the 37th, we are still a two party state.

Happy and a proud member of the 37th.

Pat you and all the other volunteers, many came from throughout the state as you know, are the real heroes in all this. I saw folks from Kent, and New Castle and obviously Sussex helping out. They were Donating their time and in every case their gas money to make sure that the Democrats cannot have the unrestricted ability to ram tax increases down the throats of the Delaware voters.
Ruth won with a great Volunteer effort. This effort makes one proud to be a Republican.
It was a pleasure to take part in this very special election and see the results come in soon after the polls close.
The Democrats pulled out all of the stops and ran a negative campaign. Still, it did not work.
