Holder Didn’t Read AZ Immigration Enforcement Law

I know it seems like I pick on Attorney General Eric Holder, but he deserves it. He blasted Arizonia’s immigration law, but didn’t read it. It is 16 pages with footnotes. We posted the law here. It seems like few of the critics have actually read the law. The AG admits that he not only has just glanced at the law, but he hasn’t even read a brief on it. Yet he launched an inquiry about suing the state.
“I’ve just expressed concerns on the basis of what I’ve heard about the law. But I’m not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people are doing the review, exactly what my position is,” Mr. Holder told the House Judiciary Committee.
This weekend Mr. Holder told NBC’s “Meet the Press” program that the Arizona law “has the possibility of leading to racial profiling.” He had earlier called the law’s passage “unfortunate,” and questioned whether the law was unconstitutional because it tried to assume powers that may be reserved for the federal government.
President Obama needs to revisit Mr. Holder’s qualifications for the position of Attorney General. It is obvious that he is simply a puppet for the current regime and spouts the current liberal rhetoric without familiarizing himself with the laws on which he is giving his opinion.
I’m convinced that this type of behavior will persist until 2012, when we help Obama pack his bags and return to Kenya where he was born.
Holder and Obama criticize the AZ law w/o even knowing what’s in it. Yet, they can’t find it within themselves to utter the words “radical Islam” and/or “Islamic terrorism.”

The US AG, and anyone in a public position, should not be discussing laws he/she has not read and thought over. But given the pro-tyranny addy-toods of those who lead the federal government and the national Democrat Party, it should not surprise. For them, it all boils down to the insatiable quest for power over the lives of the masses, especially those who would dare to rationally air fact based opinions. Freedom (aside from theirs and their backers) is an enemy. The ongoing creation and expansion of dependency classes is the Donkey’s means of hampering or stopping same.
