Hillary for President: Pete du Pont
Jul 15th, 2010 by Tennessee Walker
One wonders if Pete is just putting out there publicly what is being discussed privately in Democrat circles to stir up a little controversy. In an article for the Wall Street Journal, Pete du Pont suggests that Hillary Clinton would make a better president than Barack Obama (well who wouldn’t???)
Pete cites her experience and her willingness to campaign hard.
Personally, I am amazed at the nostalgia that some are getting about Hillary. Hillary was and is every bit the radical that Obama is. Hillary was and is a dedicated disciple of Saul Alinsky. She like Obama got an incompetent radical appointed as Attorney General. Pete cites the numerous leftist policies that Obama has instituted and suggests that Hillary would not be so radical. REALLY????
If Hillary had the type of Congressional majorities Obama has, my bet is that she would be going for broke. Let’s not forget that Hillary also is our nation’s chief diplomat. She has followed the Obama appeasement/reset policy right down the line.
In the vain attempt to find a more moderate Democrat, I think some are confusing Bill Clinton with Hillary Clinton. This is a mistake no prior White House intern would make and it is certainly a mistake no conservative should make. It was well known during the Clinton years that Hillary was the wild eyed, knee jerk liberal and Bill tended to be more poltical and pragmatic. Eight years have clouded the memories of some. It should not cloud our judgement. One can search in vain for the moderate Presidential Candidate. (Can you believe the imbeciles who thought Obama was a moderate????) I personally don’t see one on the horizon and I certainly don’t see Hillary as filling that role.
At any rate Pete du Pont makes one interesting observation. At the end of his article he gives Obama advice on how to eliminate the threat of a Hillary Presidential Candidacy. Pete du Pont suggests that Obama add Hillary to the Presidential ticket early on.
Now that is a stroke of genius!!!
However if Biden were to be let go as VP, what would Jay Leno, Letterman, et al do for material in the years to come.

I agree with you. I would rather have President Obama over President Clinton any day. Their policies are the same, but at least he is not running a criminal enterprise out of the White House and there are no weird sucides where people kill themselves and levitate to the middle of a park with no grass or mud on the shoes and leave a non handwritten note saying don’t blame the Clintons . She is as corrupt as sin.
Good Points David, I had left out the stolen FBI files etc. That being said, the book is not closed on Obama. Considering his thuggish Chicago connenctions we may discover that he and Hillary are closer than we realize.
My read was the Pete was predicting, not promoting a Hillary run for President.
