FightingBlueHen, you know how to cut which is more than I can say for most in Congress. Maybe when the Congress is in recess they should intern with lawn care companies so they can learn what it means to cut something.

It’s so simple the guy who cuts your grass (that would be me) can figure it out.
The whole push for health care reform has morphed from the libs trying for a single payer system to a partial pay system to now what they call “health insurance reform”.

Yes private health insurance is expensive when you buy it yourself.
The most recent claims by Obama is that he can somehow lower this cost by 40%.

my proposal is that, instead of the insurance companies paying the 40% combined state and federal taxes to the government, they deduct that 40% from our insurance bill and ,bingo you have your 40% savings.

with the current dem proposal any bill that is passed now will take two years to implement.
With my proposal, the savings start immediately.

The one problem is that the government most assuredly won’t give up the massive tax income from these insurance companies.

As of today anon you don’t HAVE to be controlled by the insurance companies – GASP! – you can choose to not have health insurance! I know because I did it for over a year when the insurance offered from my new employer was too expensive for me. After this bill passes that will no longer be a choice for anyone – or else you’ll be fined by the IRS under penalty of jail! WTF?? Am I in Russia Danny?
