Group Touts Miller Victory in Alaska as harbinger of Delaware Primary

Release by Common Sense Communities, which is solely responsible for its content.
Late last night Common Sense Constitutional Conservatives claimed another victory over elite career politicians with Joe Miller’s victory in the Alaskan U.S. Senate race over liberal republican Senator Lisa Murkowski.! Tea Party Express celebrated this victory here in Delaware as they pulled into the first state to begin their work on the Christine O’Donnell U.S. Senate race. That’s right…The Tea Party Express is in town and they have big plans for the PEOPLES’ seat formerly held by Joe Biden. Common Sense Republican primary voters will vote for Christine O’Donnell on Tuesday September 14th. In the next 14 days Delaware citizens, with the help of TEA Party Express, will be building on this victory to deliver victory for common sense here in Delaware. Common Sense candidates up and down the Delaware ballot can win in September and November.
The Tea Party Express has been on a win-streak in 2010, with election victories for Sharron Angle for U.S. Senate in Nevada, Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate in Florida, Mike Lee for U.S. Senate in Utah, Rand Paul for U.S. Senate in Kentucky, Scott Brown for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts, and many others. The Tea Party Express has also been instrumental in the defeat or retirement of several liberal politicians including Congressman Bart Stupak, Senator Arlen Specter and Congressman Alan Mollohan. Congressman Mike Castle is next on their list of retirees!
Castle voted for the bailouts (the TARP bank bailouts and the auto bailouts). He supported in-state tuition for illegal aliens. He supported the anti-business Cap & Trade. He supports taxpayer funding for abortions.
In fact, it turns out Castle voted for Obama’s agenda nearly 60% of the time. He is one of the worst offenders in Congress among the GOP and it’s time to fire Mike Castle.
But wait, it gets better. This is a Special Election, meaning that the winner will be seated the day after the election – which means Christine O’Donnell could be the deciding vote in the U.S. Senate to block the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda during the “lame duck” session after November’s elections, but before the new Congress is sworn in.

Hmmm…?
Joe Miller GRADUATED from West Point and Yale. Christine O’Donnell NEVER finished at Fairlyridiclous college in New Jersey. How odd that someone would compare the two.
We’re comparing political trends, not academic credentials.
Jason
She did finish the coarse work. She was young and couldn’t pay the remaining tuition. They withheld the diploma until she meets those obligations. This happens when young people who want to succeed go to college hoping to better themselves. Not everybody is rich but many are talented and intelligent.
I’m sure you’re wealthy and secure and have never had any financial problems?
She is undertaking the “coarse work” right now if you ask me.
Look – Nobody hopes for Castle to lose more than I. However, that ain’t happening. So I’m of the opinion that every O’Whackjob vote is a vote against common sense and decency.
So I’m of the opinion that every O’Whackjob vote is a vote against common sense and decency.
True, but so is a vote for Castle. Remember this is a Republican primary.
I’d like to see O’Donnell beat expectations. If Castle squeaks out a win, the narrative for the fall would be “voter dissatisfaction with Castle” before Coons even breaks a sweat.
Good point. I just find it hard to root for my fellow Delawareans to contract political rabies.
Jason
Name-calling will get you nowhere. By the way, nobody asked you but you are free to comment anyway. Do you know what common sense and decency is?
“Do you know what common sense and decency is?”
Yes. It is what went out the window when O’Whackjob and her fellow tbagz walked in the front door.
Jason
There you go again, name-calling in earnest. Liberals do this when they can’t debate the facts and things are going against them.
By the way Jason 101, I’m a Teabagger and a Birther. How do yo like me now?
“I’m a Teabagger and a Birther. How do yo like me now?”
No duh.
Alaska is a much more conservative state than Delaware, and a Sarah Palin endorsement there is like an endorsement from Jesus. I think this primary will be in the single digits, but you cannot compare Alaska’s political leanings(where the real election is the republican primary and the general is a formality) to Delaware’s. Nevada might be a better example, although I think that was clearly a mistake because there were viable, strong, highly conservative candidates in the race there who would have obliterated Reid, now we run the risk of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with that moron Angle running…. just like in Delaware(although I obviously agree Castle is far from highly conservative).
“She did finish the course work. She was young and couldn’t pay the remaining tuition.”
Ummm, how do we know this is true???? Anyone taking O’Donnell’s word for anything is crazy. Remember, she didn’t even know about the mortgage foreclosure lawsuit, except later it was disclosed she was personally served. She said she never sought the Constitution Party’s endorsement, but the Constitution Party will tell you otherwise. Time and again she has lied, and so absent word from the college that she completed all her coursework and is entitled to a degree, I see no reason to believe her now.
And by the way, if she STILL hasn’t paid her debt to the college, why doesn’t that trouble anyone? I was always taught to pay my debts. And, if she has paid the college, then why doesn’t she have the degree?
“…there were viable, strong, highly conservative candidates in the race [NV]…”
Like who? If they were so ‘strong,’ why didn’t they win the primary?
