Governor Blue Hen

Now this is really great news. We had heard earlier that New Jersey Governor elect Chris Christie has many ties to the State of Delaware including attending the University of Delaware. But even more imporatant Governor elect Christie is an avid Blue Hen Football fan.
As reported by the News Journal , Governor elect Christie has been a season ticket holder for 20 years and when not running for elections can be found at home games in Newark.
Governor Elect Christie does the whole Blue Hen experience including bringing his children and tailgating with his college buddies. In short he is one of the regular guys who you see at “The Tub” most Saurdays in the fall.
Maybe we can trade him and send K.C. Keeler to New Jersey?
I hope somebody reminds him there’s a speed limit on the Jersey Turnpike – even for the Governor’s trooper-driven SUV.
