Global Warming is Good

My point is that we do not control the atmosphere and if we did, the EPA craziness is exactly the wrong approach. Natural chemicals are not pollutants, they are not endangering anyone even polar bears. The EPA is exceeding its statutory authority in trying to regulate CO2. The EPA will listen to only one side not because the science is settled, but because only one side gives it the outcome it wants. Regulating carbon emissions would give the EPA unconstitutional direct authority over every facet of modern life.
I would rather have the ruling regime go out on the limb like this than make a deal that doesn’t take effect until after the next election. It would prevent them from consolidating their power. An EPA mandate is easier for a new Congress to stop than a law passed by Congress. Congress could just refuse to fund it while it devised a policy, which would only take the decision of one house as opposed to two thirds of both houses overcoming a Presidential veto. It makes a clear target of the extremist in the ruling regime.
The reason some business groups were trying to deal on cap and trade is to spread the pain all over the economy. They think that you can deal with the devil. The truth is that the devil can not be counted on for dealmaking. Accepting a law is foolishness. A horrible deal is better than a bad deal in politics. Compromise should be about achieving a greater good not selling out other people in order to hope you delay your own execution for a day. There is a time to deal and a time to fight. Now is the time to fight. The ruling party is divided and weaken by unpopular policies. If now is not the time to then when would be the time?
If you sell your soul today, he will claim it tomorrow and it may take Mr. Webster to get you out of it.

CO 2 is released every time we exhale. I suggest all liberals stop exhaling. This will end the CO 2 overload to our atmosphere.
