Luckily, Kevin Wade is running not you Phil. The way to win this campaign is two fold. The first is to nationalize the election. You do that by saying you won't be part of the national culture. You do that with specifics. This is not one of the huge issues that he usually addresses, but it is one of those iratating ones that Congress does. Carney will say nothing. Wade will object.

The second is to draw contrasts. Our candidate x (Wade in this example could be Cullis or Urquhart) needs to establish positive positions and show some of John Carney's failures.

There is no magic bullet to do both at one time. Since our campaigns are interminally long, there does not need to be one. If I find the magic bullet, I will run for Congress. I am content were I am.

Messrs. Wade, Cullis, Urquhart or whoever gets the nod should be able to run an effective campaign against Carney (http://www.johncarneyforcongress.com/main.cfm?actionId=globalShowStaticContent&screenKey=cmpAccomplishments&s=carney)...even if they didn't win a high school football state championship way, way, way back in the early 1970's.

If Wade's plan to beat Carney is to run against Pelosi, then I'm definitely going to keep my wallet shut, because once Kevin's trounced for running such a terrible campaign, I'll need that money to help pay my taxes.

Kevin -
First let me thank you for accepting the Founders Values invitation to introduce yourself at the Feb. 26th meeting at the Newark Senior Center! (Meeting is free and open to the public for those of you interested.) We're so glad to have heard back from so many candidates for the U.S. House and U.S. Senate and we look forward to hearing from all of you.

Next, let's address Princess Pelosi's travel needs. I know, thanks to published reports, that both Senator Chuck Schumer and Kristin Gillibrand fly on commercial jets. Why should the Speaker of the House be different? Joe Biden, Tom Carper and Mike Castle used AMTRAK for Gods sake. Are Senators and Congresspersons that are not "Speaker of the House" just throw aways? They are the peoples representatives. Should they all then have their own private transportation?

Here's a thought...if Princess Pelosi simply cannot fly with the "public" for safety concerns, why not do what a lot of military folks do and take a MAC flight? (MAC flights, for those unfamiliar are space available military flights. There are flights all across the country by the U.S. Airforce that could carry her) I'm sure that the United States Airforce is more than capable of protecting her. She could even commission an entire portion of a commerical aircraft. If an L.A. celebrity can have their names unlisted on flight manifests and have a section of 1st class curtained off to protect their identity as well as secret bording, I find it difficult to believe that Princess Pelosi could not do the same and thereby save some cash.

Will Princess Pelosi sell her $30 million jet once the progressives get their cross country high speed rail system built? Will she trade in her jet for a whole highspeed rail car?

Wait...one more thing...
How can Princess Pelosi represent Earth First and the left wing radical progressive enviornmentalist wackos while she's got a carbon footprint almost as big as Al Gore's?! (http://planetgreen.discovery.com/travel-outdoors/cross-country-flight-carbon.html and http://earthhour.zerofootprint.net/)
The sites above will help you learn something about the carbon footprint Princess Pelosi is creating. I'll shorten it here:
Taking only 2 roundtrips to and from San Francisco, Princess Pelosi would emit 7.36 Tons of carbon into the atmosphere. That equals rougly half of the yearly energy usage for the average American.

Phil, if you vote for a Democrat, you are voting for Pelosi. Did you forget that the speaker of the house is elected by the house. It is the first important vote that a Congressman casts.

There are 4 of them that the Democrat Congress decided to buy. That was because public outcry made them cut it from 8. That was not the GOP.
I actually have no problem with the Speaker of the House having secure travel. No one would say that the President should travel commercial. My problem is that she has abused the process. She embarrasses those of us who would defend legislative supremacy with private military flights for her family. She is not content with military flights but demands a fleet of private planes to be ready for her. What gives? Defend her if you wish, but I have a feeling the public will side more with Mr. Wade.

Does anybody know about the requirements The GOP congress passed as part of post 9/11 Homeland Security. The requirement for top government officials to use secure means of travel. Look it up. What do think? The Speaker just decided to by a big new private plane? If your desire for power exceeds your respect for truth - you got problems.

Ouch- another Limbaugh Clone. Weird. Does he have Pelosi pictures taped to his walls with scribble on them?

How long does it take Castle to get home to his constituents in Delaware. How long does it take Far West Representatives to get home? Who does the Constitution say is third in line for the Presidency in case of disaster.

I try so hard to get back to being with the GOP and all I get is weird stuff that sounds just exactly what I hear on from commercial talk show hosts. Any real leaders out there? Hello?
