Democrat Representative Changing Party
Dec 22nd, 2009 by Tennessee Walker
The road to a Republican House Majority got one step closer. Alabama Representative Parker Griffith is announcing today that he is changing his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.
Griffith represents the Huntsville area of Alabama which has traditionally been a Democrat district.
It would appear that Griffith is just the latest casualty of the ObamaCare monstrosity being rammed thru Congress.
“Griffith is a radiation oncologist who plans to blast the Democratic Health Care Reform bill as the basis for his party switch, and lean on his medical background to illustrate why he does not believe the reform is right for the country.”
Griffith has the kind of first hand professional experience in the health care system that makes him way to knowledgeable to accept the inane blandishments of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama.
4 Democrat representatives from swing districts have already announced their retirements. Their districts appear to be likely pickups for the Republicans in 2010.

This Congressman voted against the stimulus, cap and tax, and health care deform. You don’t go from the majority to minority unless it is a matter of conviction. Phil Gramm did it.
What will GOP primary voters say?

Yet, both were listed as having given dozens of donations to lawmakers, nearly half of which went to members of the House Appropriations Committee – legislators who were especially important to their then-son-in-law, superlobbyist Paul Magliocchetti, who…
