December 7th– A Day that will live in infamy
Dec 7th, 2009 by David Anderson
Not because it is Delaware Day, but because it was the day of the sneak attack against Hawaii by Imperial Japan. The global war engulfed Americans unwillingly, but typical of our American character, we joined together with a grim determination to protect our homeland, families, and yes, our freedom. The odds seemed stacked against us and some typing fingers and talking microphones did not think that we could win. We were underprepared, under manned, and under armed. Our economy was just emerging from the Great Depression. We were divided over the war in Europe. We were divided on issues of race. We were divided on everything it seemed.
None of that mattered. One thing that we knew is that we were Americans. When we joined together for victory, it was only a matter of time, sacrifice, and dedication. Nothing was spared. We won not only for ourselves, but the self determination of peoples the world over.
Today, we are facing another battle for freedom and American way of life. Let’s win it; no matter what the cost is.

It is also the day of the opening of the Copenhagen Cap and TAX conference. Certainly no coincidence that the day of a foreign sneak attack on our nation should be followed up with another attack on our country.
Our country may be harmed more by good intentions than
military attack.
What ‘good intentions?’ The left, including the Marxist Obama, know full-well what they’re doing; cripple the American energy industry, subvert American sovereignty and further the redistribution of American wealth to the ‘international community.’ Washington would have hung the bastards.
And to my leftist detractors, remember; I’m not here to make friends.
