DE Governor Comments on SCOTUS Decision

The Office of Delaware Governor,Jack Markell has issued the following statement re: SCOTUS decision to let the Delaware Elections Disclosure Act stand:

“In 2012, I was proud to work alongside Speaker Bob Gilligan, Common Cause of Delaware, and many others to enact the first major update to Delaware campaign finance laws in 20 years. The Delaware Elections Disclosure Act closed loopholes that allowed anonymous campaign-related advertising and required prompt reporting of third-party spending on campaign ads. I am gratified today that the constitutionality of that law has been reaffirmed. Thanks to the Supreme Court’s decision, Delaware elections in the future will be more open and transparent.”

  1. Ok, Rick, I’ll bite.

Would you mind explaining what this decision on Delaware’s election disclosure act has to do with anyone named Gosnell?
