Let me be the first to say I have no problem with the President of the United States having secret meetings with energy executives and refusing to disclose who was there or what was said.
No, I’m not talking about George Bush. I’m talking about Barack Obama. Of course, it would be nice if he would say all that stuff about openness and transparency, but that was pretty much out the door when he refused to honor his five-day window before ramming through the stimulus.
I am just glad that he is speaking with people who actually understand the industry. That is new.
