Christine On The Bill Colley Show

Aug 11th, 2010 by Frank Knotts

Just got done listening to Christine O’Donnell on The Bill Colley show,on WGMD.

As always she hit it out of the park, by laying out why it is important to elect her as the next U.S. Senator from the great state of Delaware.

She pointed out the importance of this race being a special election and that the winner will be sworn in immediately after the election. And how this means that the winner will be able to vote against the radical leftist agenda of a lame duck session. That is if the winner is Christine O’Donnell, and not Chris Coons the Democrat who will vote for that leftist agenda, and not Mike Castle the “Republican”, who will also vote for that leftist agenda.

Of course a couple of Castle’s legion were able to ride in on their one trick pony. One asked, if she were to lose, whether she would support Castle in the general. She answered with grace by basically saying, her future would be determined by the voters.

The other Castle bot called in to bring up her financial past. Again Ms. O’Donnell fielded the question with tact. She again informed the caller and the listeners, that these accusations were distortions of the truth. And that if  anyone was  interested in the truth, they could check her web-site http://christine2010.com/ .

I believe that the more Delaware voters hear from this candidate the more they will understand that not only is she the only choice for Republicans in the Sept 14 Delaware  GOP primary, but she is the only choice for all voters in the general election in November. Her’s is the message of the future of the state, the GOP and the nation.

Yes it is the message “How to live on $386.66 a month by not paying your bills, tapping into your campaign funds, and lying about the consequences.”

I know facts don’t sway you Frank but all of Christine’s so called “distortions of the truth” are backed up with documents proving that Christine has no clue about the truth. No one needs to take my word for it. All of the following posts have have actual real documents that prove the case against Christine. Christine produces no documents whatsoever. All she does is name call and say that everyone else is liar. So here are the posts with documents that Prove Christine has been untruthful for years. Anytime Christine wants to refute these posts with actual documents she is free to do so. I won’t hold my breath.

I tuned-out GMD as the Wall Street Rah-Rah Show started- didn’t even know she was going to be on.

  4. on 11 Aug 2010 at 19:484StosselFan

Frank, as I and others have observed, you’ll believe anything Christine says (and apparently so does she). “Accusations” that are “distortions of the truth?” Uhhh… I don’t think it’s an accusation to observe that her house was subject to a mortgage foreclosure action. I don’t think it’s an accusation to observe that the IRS did IN FACT file a tax lien against her. I don’t think it’s an accusation or distortion to observe that her financial disclosure form reveals she made less than $6000 over a 15-month period. Moreover, if you bother to check out her website, it is silent — that’s right, it says nothing — about these issues.
As far as I’m concerned it’s an embarrassment for this State that Christine is even mentioned in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence, as the word Senate. Just because you disagree with Castle doesn’t mean that O’Donnell is the one. Find a conservative you like who knows how to pay his or her bills and knows how to hold a steady job. At a minimum, we ought to insist on this before mentioning someone in the same breath as Senate.

  5. on 11 Aug 2010 at 20:395Windjammer

Oh yes! The O’Donnell detractors are at it again. They would rather discuss her financial record than Castle’s liberal voting record.
Well, that’s tough titty for the kitty folks. We’re bent on discussing Castle’s outstanding record voting with the democrats on everything he thought he could get away with.
We the people will decide on Sept 14.

  6. on 11 Aug 2010 at 20:566StosselFan

Windjammer, the only record Christine has is a record of failure and an absymal credit record. That might not matter to you, in your blind hatred of Castle, but I guarntee you that it matters to the voters in a general election. You can cherry pick and complain about a few of Castle’s votes, but the bottom line is that he can be part of the R’s taking back the Senate, including having majorities on all committees and having the chairs. Otherwise it’s Coons. If you had a credible alternative, maybe folks would listen, but they won’t listen to O’Possum, errr, O’Donnell.

Is she going write in? or third party-IPOD?

  8. on 12 Aug 2010 at 06:518Frank Knotts

cookie and SF, please oh please keep up your singing of that old flat tune. What you don’t get is that people this election cycle are more involved. They are actually paying attention. They are looking at the past voting record of sitting elected officials. Castle’s speaks volumes about who he is. So you keep harping on what amounts to nothing and we will keep pointing out the real issue in this primary race, Castle’s record. And let me thank you both for being shining examples of exactly who supports Mike Castle.

  9. on 12 Aug 2010 at 07:329Windjammer

    StosselFan
The only one it seems to matter to anymore is you. As for being a blind hater of Castle, that is simply not true. When he stopped being a republican, I stopped supporting him.
As for O’Donnell’s financial records, that’s all you harp on. Well I would rather have O’Donnell as a senator with all her ALLEGED baggage. I know where she stands on the issues and she is a true patriot. I didn’t get that second hand or in one of her speeches. I sat and talked to her at length.
If you want to be a Castle apologist, that is your business.

  10. on 12 Aug 2010 at 08:1610Rick

How much money did O’Donnell steal?

None, unlike Socialist-Democrats Rangel and Waters- who, I might add, are still in office.

  11. on 12 Aug 2010 at 10:5011StosselFan

O’Possum lovers, you miss the point. If she can’t manage her finances, and if she can’t hold a job, how in heck do you think she’ll ever survive in Washington and the Senate? There is so much more to being a legislator than simply having the right views.

And if it seems as though I “harp” on Ms. O’Donnell’s financial problems, lack of a real job, etc., well, that’s all that there is about her to evaluate. She has no experience in any governmental role. She was fired from her last job. Her house was foreclosed on. A tax lien was filed against her. The list goes on and on and on… and on.

If she can’t hold a job, and if she can’t manage her finances, and, heck, if she can’t even manage to get her campaign finance filings in on time, what could possibly give you the idea that she’ll be a decent Senator?

Oh, I know you’ll say her views, but please, what makes you think she’ll even show up on time to vote or be able to understand Senate rules. If she can’t handle basic life skills, she won’t be able to handle the Senate, regardless of whether you like her political views or not.

  12. on 12 Aug 2010 at 11:1712GeorgeC

“One asked, if she were to lose, whether she would support Castle in the general. She answered with grace by basically saying, her future would be determined by the voters.”

Translation: Yes, I don’t have a job and will selfishly split the vote after I lose the primary because I will need the continued fund raising to pay my living expenses for the next 4 years.

  13. on 12 Aug 2010 at 17:0113Windjammer

    SF
Nobody has missed the point here except you. I call Castle supporters and apologists, “Sodomites” because he has been screwing conservative republicans in the backside for years.
So you sodomites should look closely at his current voting record and stop trying to minimize its importance.
The only reason I made up this name is because TW resorted to name calling. The lowest thing to do. Let’s talk about taking back the nation and not choosing second best because we don’t have the gonads to support the best.

  14. on 12 Aug 2010 at 17:5114Frank Knotts

SF says,”She has no experience in any governmental role.” Let me translate for those of you who may not speak the language of the Castle legion. No experience in any government role, translates to, not part of the ruling class elitist club. I and others feel that it is time to take a chance on people who haven’t proven by the many years of experience getting elected, that they know how to screw evrything up.

  15. on 12 Aug 2010 at 19:0515GeorgeC

No Frank, she’s proven she can’t win an election against a Democrat. Can’t balance a budget, can’t handle responsibility or accountability. Coons would obliterate her in the general election, she is down 10 points already and has no money.

  16. on 12 Aug 2010 at 20:5216Rick

O’Possum lovers, you miss the point. If she can’t manage her finances, and if she can’t hold a job, how in heck do you think she’ll ever survive in Washington…

Forty years- like Charlie Rangel, who ‘forgot’ to pay his taxes on nearly $1 million in income…among other ‘discrepancies.’
