Chavez Must Have Problems
Nov 9th, 2009 by David Anderson
When you have to distract people at home, make up an enemy. President Hugo Chavez is once again trying to scare everyone into thinking an invasion is coming. Does anyone believe Columbia and the U. S. want to invade Venezuela? Maybe if you watch his state control media. This is the same Chavez looked up to by a couple members of the administration including the FCC Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd.

When you have to distract people at home, make up an enemy.
Irony alert!
Where? You are not saying that when people are actually dying by at the hands of an enemy who declared war is the same as making up one are you? Please explain?
For the irony-impared:
David is raising Chavez as a bogeyman for the US, in the same post he is complaining that Chavez is raising bogeymen at home.
Clear enough?
No, I am not complaining that he wants to attack us. My problem is not with him but our own folks. I am saying that he is not a model for us unlike Cass Sunstein and Mark Lloyd who find him to be one. You are really stretching but at least not as far as it seemed. Thanks for the clarification.
Dave, Noman is parroting the lefitst propaganda that there is no real war on terror and that this was just Bush’s way to distract the people. That is why he jumped on one line.
noman still has Bush derangement syndrome and like most liberals has given Chavez the Socialist who rules by brute force a pass.
Chavez has jailed polticial opponents, confiscated whole industries, abolished term limits for himself, shut down oppostion newspapers all with no complaint from the Obamaista’s such as noman.
Yeah Chavez is another Bush. If Bush behaved like Chavez he would still be president.
Chavez will run Venezuela in to the ground; Marxist ideologues always do. Well, at least he gets to live like a king for a while.
Chávez is a nut (I personally know quite a few Venezuelans and they and their families are leaving the country in droves b/c of him) who’s a homophobe and an anti-Semite. However, are his fears that the US might invade part of his nuttery? Just look at the US’s history in the region.
Oh, and David? It’s “Colombia,” not “Columbia.”
