Carrie Prejean Wins and Political Correctness is Defeated

May 12th, 2009 by David Anderson

UPDATE: Apparently everyone was not up to date with the fact that some of the new photos were Photoshop altered in a desperate attempt to undermine her credibility. I only care about the real pictures. This dishonesty is one reason that I feel so strongly about speaking out against the PC Mafia. They have to be defeated if we are to have a real debate on issues in this nation. The same crowd that hates her hates me and whoever else opposes them. Allowing the lies to go unchallenged about her affects the larger issue. Exposing them shows the true nature of political correctness.

The Donald admitted for the first time that the very low marks one judge gave in a very close title fight “didn’t help” Ms. California’s quest for Miss USA. The PC police in the form of two judges were not content with keeping the woman who most represented the majority of America from getting the crown, they wanted to destroy her. Donald Trump has justified my faith in him by putting a stop to the nonsense.

Ms. Prejean is a professional model. Unsurprisingly, she has photos typical of a model in her past. None of the photos found involve exposure or illicit activities. One set that she never released after the take involved modeling only the bottom half of lingerie and covering with only her arms. Certainly not what should be done, but not scandal material either in this day and age. It is what you find in sales catalogs. The pageant which has contestants prance around in bikinis (which show more than the pictures) and lingerie would be amazingly hypocritical to act as if that should disqualify her from anything.

The lady did not back down nor did she apologize. She stood up for herself yet again. I am seeing a trend with her. Maybe the GOP should take lessons from Carrie Prejean in standing against the PC Mafia.

Her victory today is a victory for all freedom loving Americans and especially those of who value our traditions. You can still say what you believe because this is still America.

Go buy a Trump book and some Right Guard to celebrate.

David, I agree with you except in this case there was no PC mafia. I think almost everybody thought Ms CA gave a decent answer saying voters / States have a right to do what they want with marriage but in her Christian family marriage is a man and a woman. Who can argue with that? That is pretty much President Obama’s position. Perez Hilton the loudmouth judge and a few of his supporters were pretty much lone voices of hyped up indignation – I think Hilton did it more for 15 minutes than for any real beliefs. The media – conservative and liberal try to make chicken salad out of chicken shit – don’t let it rattle you.

I have a new respect for The Donald.

    From Politico:

At a press conference addressing Carrie Prejean’s disputed title in the Miss USA competition, pageant owner Donald Trump compared Prejean’s stated views on gay marriage to Obama’s.

“It’s the same answer that the president of the United States gave,” Trump said. “She gave an honorable answer. She gave an answer from her heart.”

Of course, you conveniently forget that she flat-out lied when she was first asked about the pictures, saying that they were taken when she was a teenager. Furthermore, more pictures have come out exposing much more than you have described in this post. Personally, I don’t care what pictures have been taken of her, but I find it amusing how right wing Bible-thumping scolds such as yourself are so willing to excuse the lying and hypocrisy of right wing shills like Miss California while condemning the same behavior by anybody else.

I am certain that had she said that she was a lesbian and that she wanted to marry Miss Delaware your opinion of these pictures and of her lying about them would be quite different.

  5. on 12 May 2009 at 14:045David Anderson

Wrong, that was specifically addressed at the press conference. Unless you wish to call the Donald a liar, you are must be claiming inside knowledge that none of the public facts suggest, just the lies of her opponents.

Mr. Trump said clearly that there was no dishonesty on the part of Ms. Prejean. She did not lie nor was she dishonest to the pageant about the pictures. There may have been some misunderstanding, but that was resolved.

As for the pictures, I was tempted to link to them. I saw them and did not find them offensive though not to my taste (Blow back like this is why I advise Christians not to compromise. There is no fair play). I would have to condemn every other art museum in the country if I condemned her. They were not sexual or even nudes. Britney Spears had more exposed in Womanizer which airs on television. I don’t think that Ms. Prejean should be held to one standard and condemned while everyone else is held to a different one and praised for being progressive. It was nothing that was not typical of the industry and The Donald addressed that as well.

I watched part of the press conference so I don’t have to get my facts from the loony left blogs. If she said that she wanted to marry another woman, I would have taken issue with the misguided remarks not try to troll through her life then distort anything she did and attempt to destroy her future career.

Yes, Donald Trump is a model for Christian honesty and morals. He wouldn’t possibly lie just to gain some more publicity, now would he? He wouldn’t be keeping her on as Miss California because he recognizes a little gold mine when he sees it, now would he?

Of course, Ms Prejean herself released this statement AFTER the pictures were released “Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid website that openly mocks me for my Christian faith.”

“Taken as a teenager”? What a liar.

David, you really ought to know better than to trust two lying publicity hounds like Trump and Prejean. I mean, really, can’t you find anybody more worthy of your time to hold up as a moral authority?

  7. on 12 May 2009 at 16:567G Rex

A1, did Perez Hilton violate his commission of judgeship by allowing his personal bias to influence his decision, rather than following the judging criteria for the pageant? Carrie Prejean probably lost the pageant because of his intolerance for Christian values, although you could certainly say she won. Anyone know who came in first? I didn’t think so.

  8. on 12 May 2009 at 16:568David Anderson

The last time I checked 17 was a teenager. I guess you all just have to claim she is a liar. Why does that matter so much when 95% of the populace will lie to advance himself? This from people who defend lying under oath to pervert justice for a woman who just wanted her day in court (Paula Jones). Oddly enough the pageant says she didn’t lie, but I guess annon has some inside information that we should all defer to.

Trump has no reason to lie. I know that he is an “evil capitalist” so that means he lies in your mind.

Who is holding them up as moral authorities? I don’t think either one would even claim that for themselves.

I find it interesting that Carrie was not seeking anything by her answer. She did not plant the question. Now that she has proven skillful at PR she is a publicity hound. Isn’t that what beauty queens are. I think the PC Mafia is just upset that they couldn’t destroy her. Unlike Anita Bryant, she fought back and went to the people on her side. The woman built a constituency faster than most politicians which made her untouchable. It was a wonderful lesson for those who would learn from it.

  9. on 12 May 2009 at 18:249anonone

David, how gullible are you really? She is 21 years old. She had the boob job about a year ago. The pictures are from after her boob job.

And, yes, Donald Trump is a liar. Ask his ex-wives.

Oh, and Paula Jones? Wasn’t she the gal that posed in Penthouse? And I remember how she came out later and said that she had been manipulated by all the leaders of the religious right who only wanted to bring Clinton down and stuck her with enormous legal bills.

David, it is you who is holding the very lying Miss California and Trump up as moral authorities.

    You’re way too gullible.

  10. on 12 May 2009 at 21:3310David Anderson

You aren’t listening to the facts. She had “boobs” before the job, she just enhanced them. As for the couple of photos that you must be referring to–, the investigation showed that they were–are you ready– Photoshop altered. As I said, there was an attempt to destroy her. Buy some outtakes taken while she was changing between shoots and photoshop. That is dishonest. I am glad that they lost.

This woman turned down a million dollar offer to be in a porn flick and instead endorsed marriage for what? I don’t have a problem with her being a role model. If you want to be a hypocrite go right ahead. If you wish to believe the worst about people in spite of the facts, I can’t stop you. The preponderance of the evidence favors them. The nature of the offense is so small and the microscope is so intense that lying would be stupid. People lie when it benefits them. The lies seem to be coming from their adversaries. They are proven to be duplicitous.

I have a question, do you have a problem with models or just Christian ones? There is not anything in her pictures not typical of the modeling industry especially someone who would like to be a “Victoria Secret Angel” as was her stated career goal.

  11. on 13 May 2009 at 08:4811anonone

First of all, there is no evidence that they were photoshopped other than she says that they were, and she has already lied several times. Let’s see the uncensored before and after pictures first.

Second, if they were photoshopped, it wouldn’t surprise me if she did it herself to feed her publicity addiction and her “I am a poor persecuted christian” schtick.

As far as her modeling career, I don’t care if she does porn. I have already suggested that she launch “BigTitsForJesus.com” with other surgically endowed christian models to help bring about the second cumming.

anonone, I suspect that you lead a very sad and unhappy life. I feel sorry for you.

  13. on 13 May 2009 at 13:1513david anderson

Think123, see what I mean. No matter what the facts are, some people just want to smear, sneer, and jeer. Any fair minded person can see the facts on this and accept the committee decision.

  14. on 13 May 2009 at 18:2314anonone

Gee, David, see what I mean? Some people who know the facts actually have a shred of integrity unlike the money-hungry and publicity hounds Prejean and Trump:

“Former beauty queen Shanna Moakler has resigned as executive director of the Miss California USA pageant, a day after controversial titleholder Carrie Prejean was allowed to keep her crown.
Moakler, a former Miss USA , said in a statement issued by her publicist Wednesday that she no longer believes in the organization.
She had angrily accused Prejean on Monday of violating the contract she signed with pageant organizers by speaking out repeatedly on behalf of organizations opposed to gay marriage and by failing to disclose she had posed nearly nude for photographs as a teenager.”

  15. on 13 May 2009 at 18:4915David Anderson

Integrity? She was part of the hit squad who disgraced the pageant by blasting the majority view of her own state and issuing intemperate statements in the name of the organization. She lost face and left. That does not speak to integrity. Nearly nude is not nude and the pictures were not for public use anyway and not a violation of of the contract. She had an axe to grind and had an accident with it.

The good people of CA that she insulted by calling them every name in the book aren’t mourning her lose. The woman tried to gag C P and violate her rights apart from the pag. The organization was on the verge of being sued and likely losing. She had no business in leadership if she thinks that it is an excuse for dictatorship.
