Beau doesn’t want to Run: Joe

In an opinon piece in today’s News Journal, Biden syncophant Harry Themal reports that Beau Biden does not want to run for the U.S. Senate. In a tirelessly suck up piece to Joe Biden, Themal quotes Joe Biden at the end of the interview: Biden: “If you run into Beau, talk him into running; he respects you.” (Themal)
Me: “I don’t think he wants to run, though.”
Consider this the trial balloon. Joe is laying the ground work for Beau bowing out gracefully. Look to see the core of the D’s to do a ”Please Run Beau” movement This will allow the somewhat relunctant Prince of Bidenville to do the will of the people. Joe Biden’s touting of Beau’s accomplishments as AG (???????? Blown murder cases galore) also gives Beau the opportunity to stay in the AG race.
Themal reports these comments as an aside at the end of a lengthy conversation on national issues. Anyone who believes this trial balloon was anything than calculated must have the foolishness of one who still subscribes to the News Journal.
Beau is leaning heavily against running. The Brown effect is alive in Delaware.
Supposedly Themal misquoted Biden rather badly, according to a Washington Post piece that Delaware Liberal has now linked to, and the entire conversation was about Kaufman, not Beau.
Either Themal used select quotes to craft a column that is less than factual, or Biden made the remarks without thinking what would come of them (not surprising) and has had to do a bit of damage control after the fact.
While I would never assume that Themal would not use selected quotes to craft a column (He does work for the News Journal), I also am more than willing to believe that Joe Biden will throw Themal under the bus when he realized that the whole conversation was on the record and once again big mouth Joe looks like a fool.
So far Beau has not looked like a candidate.
I prefer he run and lose, no need to speculate and make excuses.

Perfect thread for me to tell my story. Some of you might know a bit about it already.
Last week I am sitting home and I get a call from a Peggy Drury. She is a nurse, or was a nurse, and goes to my church. She asks if I know the phone number of somebody or another in the church. I did not.
“I’m trying to start a group to protest at Dr. Bradley’s old practice building. I think somebody ought to go in there and get his medical supplies and send them to Haiti.”
She speaks of the BAYBEES medical building, that current eyesore now on Route one in Lewes, where the perverted Pediatrician practiced medicine, molested children and filmed his heinous acts.
Peggy tells me about going to confession, the priest warning her Bradley is innocent until proven guilty. I remind her this is true. Peggy is very serious on her endeavor and I admire her sort of misguided intent. First, well what the hell is going to happen to that eyesore now down on Rt. one and maybe it wouldn’t be prudent to go barging in there and send all of his medical supplies to Haiti, maybe for some sort of recompense to his victims?
So Peggy really does form her group, which consists of only her, she has signs made up, and she goes down and walks around in front of BAYBEES but she moved over to WAWA cause she almost got killed. She also adorned the place with black ribbons and little black graves.
Dan Gaffney of WGMD got the story and he began calling her over the air and soon folks were calling in about Peggy. Right along Peggy’s calling me and I’m telling her what to put on her signs….especially that bit about Beau Biden.

Yup. On 1/21/10…three days after Peggy began her quest, a spokesman for Biden’s office says that the AG put an injunction on Bradley’s property..something about racketeering or some such….in order to preserve the property for possible ..well recompense for his victims.
1/21/10? WHAT THE HELL WAS OLE BEAU DOING ABOUT THE PROPERTY BEFORE THAT?
It took some misguided but well=intentioned woman to remind this man to do his damn job?
I say…just cause your Dad is such an intelligent politico doesn’t make you the brighest AG in the box.
I told Peggy I was proud of her but she says she thinks the stuff should go to Haiti.
You know I can’t make this stuff up.
