AP has the VP’s back

Our Vice President, Joseph Biden, believes that we can lead the world economically in the 21st Century. The problem is that he said the 20th century. In the written edition, the AP corrected the error for the VP. No harm done except that we have You Tube.
I don’t really have a problem with the VP, who spent well over 50 years in the 20th century slipping up. I don’t really have a problem with the AP changing the quote without bracketing it. I just wonder what would have happened if Governor Sarah Palin would have done it? I wonder do I really have to ask.
