Another TEA party Endorsement For O’Donnell

TEA PARTY GROUP UNANIMOUSLY ENDORSES CHRISTINE O’DONNELL
CALLS MIKE CASTLE A POTENTIAL ARLEN SPECTER

Philadelphia (August 18, 2010) — The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC, the only federally registered Tea Party political action committee in the tri-state region, announced today that it has endorsed

Christine O’Donnell for US Senate in the upcoming Delaware Republican Primary (September 14).

The seat, vacated in 2009 by Vice President-elect Joe Biden, is also being sought by Congressman Mike Castle (R-DE).  Whoever wins the November general election will serve out the remaining years of Biden’s term and will begin serving that term on November 3–thereby voting in the lame duck session of 111th Congress.

“We are confident Christine O’Donnell will beat Mike Castle in the upcoming primary,” said PAC Vice President for Delaware, Kevin Street.  “Christine is a strong grassroots favorite.  While her opponent has the support of establishment types, Christine has the support of the people.”

In a recent Rasmussen poll, O’Donnell was beating her potential Democratic rival by several points.

“We were extremely impressed with Christine’s ability to articulate her positions on the issues.  Her platform of smaller government, lower taxes, and free enterprise solutions mirrors our own.  She is an extremely gifted communicator who exudes warmth and charisma–that’s why she received a unanimous endorsement at our August board meeting,” said PAC President, Don Adams.

“Although she won’t be able to match multi-millionaire candidate Mike Castle dollar for dollar, she is beginning to raise serious money.  As our endorsed candidate Anna Little demonstrated in the New Jersey 6th Congressional District Republican Primary, money isn’t always everything–sometimes, grassroots support is.”

Anna Little, who garnered unanimous Tea Party support, won her New Jersey primary by 84 votes despite being outspent 20-1 by her opponent.

In primary contests so far, the Independence Hall Tea Party PAC, which only endorses congressional candidates, has won 4 out of 4 races in the New Jersey Primary (June 8) and 8 out of 10 races in the Pennsylvania Primary (May 10).

“Our PAC Board endorses the most viable conservative candidates,” said Adams.  “Unfortunately, Mike Castle is not a conservative–in fact, he’s a potential Arlen Specter.”

The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC was formed in February, 2010 to assist federal candidates in the tri-state region (PA, NJ, DE) who share the organization’s commitment to limited government, fiscal responsibility, and lower taxes. The PAC’s website is currently under construction

Good for the Independence Hall Tea Party. They have correctly judged the political sentiment in Delaware and selected a solid conservative candidate as their choice to endorse.
O’Donnell has much national support and is recognized as a true conservative. She has appeared on cable news as a contributor and shown that she has a grasp of national issues.
We’ll see what Delaware Republicans do on primary day.

If Christine is so great in the eyes of the Tea Party, why is it that she had to lie to the Independence Hall Tea Party? Watch this YouTube video of Christine speaking to the IHTP and you find the lies (it’s like Where’s Waldo?)

    I heard a lie, I heard a lie….

When speaking of Biden’s tenure in the Senate, she said he was the most liberal senator- no, that would be Barack Obama.

  4. on 19 Aug 2010 at 09:114Windjammer

    Cookie
I just watched the video twice and could not find a lie in it.
Perhaps you would be so kind as to point it out. This is your precious opening, if you are a Castle sycophant.

  5. on 19 Aug 2010 at 09:425cookie

I am not a Castle sycophant. I am one of the many people who worked for Christine in 2008 (volunteer), along with Kristen Murray (who wasn’t paid and was told by Christine that if she told anyone that she was not paid her salary that she would never work in Delaware again.) None of the people I worked with in 2008 are supporting Christine now.

You guys are smart. I trust that you can figure out the most significant lie in this video (hint: it is early in her speech.)

There is a whopper in there. Maybe WJ your hearing is getting weak due to the sodomizing that you have received from Stoessel Fan. ;)

  7. on 19 Aug 2010 at 09:567Rick

“..if she told anyone that she was not paid her salary that she would never work in Delaware again…”

Now I know where Christine spends her off-season; she’s a union thug at the Port of Wilmington.

  8. on 19 Aug 2010 at 10:008Windjammer

    TW
You and Stoessel Fan must be sodomizing each other. You are such great friends. Thanks for the dig though, it was a great one. Got any hemorrhoids yet?

The only thing I can think of is the Penny saved story she started off with. There is no way to verify that.

  9. on 19 Aug 2010 at 10:169Windjammer

    Cookie
If it is true, that people weren’t paid for campaigning with her, she probably was broke. I’ve served on campaigns, both statewide and more locally, (representative and senatorial) and never received a dime. I don’t feel hurt about it, but instead feel gratified to have been able to help make a change that was positive.
People don’t always win these elections and usually when they drop out, they are dead broke.
I apologize for labeling you a Castle sycophant. It probably won’t be the last time I will be wrong.

  10. on 19 Aug 2010 at 10:2510GeorgeC

“In a recent Rasmussen poll, O’Donnell was beating her potential Democratic rival by several points.”

That is a lie. You can’t exactly call a poll recent when one that shows she is down 10 points has come out after it.

  11. on 19 Aug 2010 at 10:5111Cannibus

I love that platform. Smaller government. Lower taxes. Free enterprise. Pat Toomey in Pa takes it even a step further, he promises “more jobs, less government”.

  12. on 19 Aug 2010 at 11:1912Tennessee Walker

For those who have viewed the video and are confused by what Cookie considers a lie, Here is the documentation and explanation.

    http://www.delawarepolitics.net/comment-rescue-odonnell-whopper-in-her-own-words/

Now for anyone who can prove that Christine won 2 Delaware Counties in 2008, I will buy them dinner. The truth is Christine is putting out fibs. (This is what my mother would have said.) Others such as Cookie will call them flat out lies. These are Christine’s own words spoken on May 2nd before the very group that just endorsed her. (Do these guys even do homework???? The Tri County Tea Party folks must be the most gullible and naive folks around. It appears they will believe anything.)

  13. on 19 Aug 2010 at 17:2613Windjammer

No they’re not gullible, you’re just on Castle’s team. I hope he’s paying you for selling out your country.
How much is Castle paying you to be his bully Pulpit.

  14. on 19 Aug 2010 at 20:1314Rick

Castle is obviously not a conservative- he’s not even a moderate. He’s a liberal, left of center. And TW, that’s where you are, too. Left of center. Your monomaniacal obsession with O’Donnell proves it.

There’s nothing wrong with being an honest liberal. It’s a free country- just have the guts to admit it.

  15. on 19 Aug 2010 at 21:2315GeorgeC

Then why does he vote conservative more than liberal Rick? And why wouldn’t he just run as a Democrat, where he would romp his way to a Senate seat?

The answer is pretty easy, he is a fiscal conservative and always has been, but he is a social moderate. Unlike people who think you have be pro-life to support a balanced budget. The only reason we’ve had to put up with this religious nutjob nonsense is because in America spending less than you have is an inherently minority position.

  16. on 20 Aug 2010 at 09:4816cookie

If it is true, that people weren’t paid for campaigning with her, she probably was broke. I’ve served on campaigns, both statewide and more locally, (representative and senatorial) and never received a dime. I don’t feel hurt about it, but instead feel gratified to have been able to help make a change that was positive.
Then why did Christine bring on Kristen Murray on salary to be her campaign manager if she knew she couldn’t pay her? Kristen had rent and bills to pay. Kristen wouldn’t have taken the job otherwise. And why did Christine threaten to make her unemployable in Delaware if Kristen told anyone that she was jilted out of her salary? And the same exact thing happened to the next campaign manager David Keegan. Promised a salary, but never paid. Not one person from her team came back to work in 2010 because we knew that she was paying herself rent and food monies out of the kitty, but not paying her “paid” staff.

  17. on 20 Aug 2010 at 10:0517Publius

O’Possum didn’t pay others because she must have needed the campaign funds to pay for her apartment, er, campaign headquarters. Putting herself first, that’s Christine O’Possum, and if that means telling a fib or two to out-of-state folks (like, I won two counties!), then who cares.

  18. on 20 Aug 2010 at 19:1818Frank Knotts

GeorgeC says about Mike Castle, “he is a fiscal conservative and always has been”, really George, then your definition is quite different than mine about a fiscal conservative.
George obviously thinks that cap and trade, cash for clunkers, higher CAFE standards, TARP, the most recent stimulus package, are all fiscal conservative issues and that Mr. Castle voted correctly. GeorgeC, please go stand next to TW with all of the other “blind eye party people”.

  19. on 21 Aug 2010 at 11:2419Rick

The answer is pretty easy, he is a fiscal conservative and always has been, but he is a social moderate.

    George, you’re a-okay…as a comedian…’conservative’..’moderate’…
You got ‘em rollin’ in the aisles.

The Independence Hall Tea Party PAC is far from Naive. That’s why we have won 12 out of 14 primary races in PA and NJ, including several close ones.

We don’t expect our candidates to be perfect–but we do insist that they be conservative.

That’s why we endorsed O’Donnell over
    Castle.

    Don Adams, President
    Independence Hall Tea Party PAC

Mr. Admas, thank you for your comment. And thank you and your organization for endorsing the “ONLY” conservative running to be the next senator from the state of Delaware.
