America’s Freedom Dies : 219-212

Mar 21st, 2010 by Frank Knotts

The Democrats have been able to lie, cheat and steal their way to passage of their idea of health care reform. They have made a mockery of the U.S. Constitution, they have lied over and over again about their intentions for passing this disgusting piece of legislation. They have made backroom deals to sway those of their own party who opposed the bill. Most notably Rep. Bart Stupak D-Michigan, who had said for weeks that he would vote no due to language in the bill that will allow federal funding for abortions. He changed his vote at the last-minute based on a letter from Pres. Obama in the form of an executive order stating that no federal money would fund abortions, yeah right. This goes to show why you can’t trust Democrats.

I just hope that all of those who voted for this bill have a back up plan for a career come November. I also hope that all of you citizens out there who supported this bill can live with yourselves as you watch the nation’s deficit spiral upward, as you watch health care quality spiral downward and as you watch the nation that has been the beacon of freedom for the world for over two hundred years, become just another third world country. Those who support this bill are the most selfish, self-centered people in the world, if they think that it is justice to take that which belongs to one citizen and give it to another who had nothing to do with earning it. That is not justice that is a crime.

I must say that my faith in the system has been shaken. How can we call ourselves a representative republic, when the nation’s people were screaming no ! And the so-called leaders went right ahead and passed the bill .

This truly could be then beginning of the end of democracy and freedom in this once proud nation. How can we ever walk this back ? How can we look our children in the face and tell them that they and their children, and their children’s children will be paying for this mistake ?

May God forgive us, may God help us and may God bless this nation of United States.

    It is a rogue regime.

Are you going to act this way every time you lose?

  3. on 22 Mar 2010 at 07:103Mike Protack

For Liberal Geek who blocks me on Delaware Liberal, the GOP did not lose last night. America did.
Let me lay it out for you.
The entire proposal is fiscally unsound. It counts as savings the 21% reduction in Dr medicare payments which have never been enacted. If they are, Dr’s will run from Medicare.
For the first time investments are being targeted for Medicare taxes which will never realize the amount of money the Dems claim it will bring.
There is no reduction in costs, no bending of the ‘curve’. We did get bent over.
There is a reallocation of insurance dollars and absolutely no reform of Medicare or Medicaid which are bankrupt.
There was no increase in consumer choice or lawsuit reform.
I favor universal coverage but Obama care is the same as no care. Obama and Pelosi have guaranteed 20-30 dem losses in the House which is in their eyes a good thing.

Castle voted against it. See, even a RINO can be right 70% of the time.

  5. on 22 Mar 2010 at 08:355anon

If they are, Dr’s will run from Medicare.

What kind of threat is this?

When they come to the protest rally, let them bring their 1040′s so we can see just how bad it is for them. And remind them to park the Lexus around the corner, it makes a bad impression.

Let them go out in the cold world and try to make a living treating only diseases of the rich.

    They’ll run back.

  6. on 22 Mar 2010 at 08:406Timothy Pancoast

If that is how you really feel about your doctor you are going to miss them someday.

  7. on 22 Mar 2010 at 10:017Hube

Are you going to act this way every time you lose?

LOL! Says the guy from the site that blocks everyone who disagrees with them and complains in precisely the same manner as the wording in this very post every time THEIR side loses.

Does the hilarity ever stop coming from DL?

  8. on 22 Mar 2010 at 10:268David

No, they are always very dramatic. Today, we get to as conservative as they are liberal.

Seriously, the importance of confronting this bill can not be overstated. I think Frank is being moderate about it. This is a slide away from a free society. We no longer have creeping socialism. It is just plain in your face socialism dressed up in red, white, and blue.

  9. on 22 Mar 2010 at 10:489LiberalGeek

I personally have never blocked anyone. I suspect Protack was blocked since he typically does a hit-and-run job. My personal favorite today is that the Dems had a super-majority and didn’t get anything done. That one has a special place in my heart today.

  10. on 22 Mar 2010 at 10:5510anon

Mike says doctors will abandon their Hippocratic Oath in exchange for money: “I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm. I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person’s family and economic stability.”

We need less greed in medicine. 6 of the top ten highest paid professions in America are medical professionals. How big a McMansion does a doctor need before he treats the elderly at the Medicare rate?

  11. on 22 Mar 2010 at 18:2911Frank Knotts

anon, who gets to decide what home a doctor should live in ? Some government wonk in D.C. who is as jealous and envious ,as you seem to be of other people’s success ? You and the Democrats don’t give a rat’s behind about making life better for those still struggling to succeed, you and they wish only to punish those who already have. You and the Democrats and anyone who would support state run theft such as this health care bill , are nothing more than little trolls under a rickety bridge hoping to eke out a life from robbing innocent passers by. I wonder how you will feel with the boot of the state on your throat after they have robbed all of us who oppose them. Because be assured my friend, after they have ruined their opposition they will start on their supporter. I guess you are just hoping the the alligator will eat you last.

  12. on 22 Mar 2010 at 20:1912anon

Well if the Totalitarian Monster gets too out of hand with the boot on the throat thing I’ll vote them out.

Nobody is envious. I got a real nice house. Mike said doctors will refuse to treat sick old folks if the price is not right. I don’t think that’s true, I don’t think that would be morally right. Tthe Hippocratic Oath is important to doctors. Don’t jump the gun on everything. No throat boots, not hate doctors. No class envy. Just don’t think doctors will turn away sick old people.

This reform should be good for doctor business. More people with insurance.

  13. on 24 Mar 2010 at 09:5513Frank Knotts

anon, if I may , what is it you do to earn your living to buy your nice home ? How would you feel if government came to your industry and told you that you would be earning less in the future for the good of all mankind? I guess you being such a good little camrade, you would gladly give up your rights and your earnings and if need be your home. Doctors are human, they have families , they have a ceratain standard of living that they worked very hard to achieve , they have the huge investment of going through school to become a doctor. And you and people like you want to send in the government to bring them down a notch or two.

  14. on 24 Mar 2010 at 09:5914AnotherAnon

How would you feel if government came to your industry and told you that you would be earning less in the future for the good of all mankind?

This happens all the time. Government is just another customer, so I adjust my business model.

How would you feel if the tax man took your house because you could no longer afford to pay for your physician’s vacation home?
