A REALLY REALLY Important Decision
Oct 8th, 2009 by Tennessee Walker
We all know that our very own Dave Burris is around and has more interests then just politics. He started this blog and then moved on to some other great enterprises. But now Dave has come to a crossroads in life and his career, in fact a crossroads that defines the very essence of who he is. With all of the turmoil and recent news some might ask what is the life defining moment staring Dave directly in the eyes??????
Well his upcoming decision is one few of us have to make in fact for most of us this is a choice handed down from our parents and something we don’t think about but just do.
Dave’s decision is:
1. Should he abandon his allegiance to the hapless Cleveland Browns and
2. What team should he attach his allegiance to.
Regarding point 1. The Browns have abandoned all pretenses of being a Professional football team. Their managment has hired a failed New York Jets Coach to run their team. Their only saving grace is having a former Delaware d’back, Mike Adams, on their roster. The genius of Paul Brown, the man who make this franchise great, is long gone. This is a hapless organization. The truth is the Browns have left their fans not that their fans have left the Browns.
I will give my views on what Dave should do on a later post. I think all of us should help Dave out in this hour of need. After all he is the blogmeister emeritus of Delaware Politics.

Thanks for your concern, Tennessee. I am coping well with the recent ending of my relationship of 23 years with the Cleveland Browns. I have chosen four teams to follow for the next few months from which I will select my new team of choice. My four semifinalists are: Green Bay, the NY Jets, San Diego and Atlanta. I welcome your input.
