A “RESISTANCE” rally organized by Sussex County Democratic Party activists took place at 2:30 pm on Sunday February 12th to protest newly elected President Trump’s immigration policy and crackdown of illegal immigrants residing in the U.S.
Signs critical of the President , his policies and against hate and racism in general were numerous among the crowd of approximately 300 people. Passing motorists occasionally shouted "TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP!" in response.
“NO Hate NO Fear, Immigrants are Welcome Here!” was the major chant in protest of the President’s recent executive order, temporarily suspending immigration from seven predominantly Islamic countries until more thorough background check policies can be implemented. The rally was mainly in opposition to the Read more

Hundreds of people gathered at various points along DE RT 1 from Milford to Smyrna in honor of slain Delaware Corrections Officer, Sgt. Steven Floyd, earlier this afternoon. Various local fire companies displayed large American Flags, suspended from ladder trucks stationed on overpasses as their members stood at attention
State agencies and local police departments, including the Department of Corrections, State Police, DELDOT as well as the Delaware National Guard actively participated. Police delegations from surrounding states were also present as we're some Delaware citizens groups.
Sgt. Floyd ( a sixteen-year veteran of the DOC) was killed during the February 2 Building C hostage incident in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna. Throughout last week, flags in Delaware were lowered to half staff in his honor. He was buried with full honors in Barrett's Chapel Cemetery. Read more

What Is Your Choice; Neoliberalism Or Constitutional Republic
The truth about politics and political parties really is: Both are relative to what you and everybody believes they are, regardless of what they tell you they are. This is why both the Republican and Democratic parties have lost credibility with a large majority of the American public. President Trump is not a republican, even though he ran on the republican ticket. Instead, he is an Independent Populist. He believes in America and the American people.
In reality, there is no far-left, left-of-center, center, right of center or far right, only political power and “popular issues” with popular candidates, who endorse those issues. This interpretation might sound like populism but that also is just another relative term to be determined by the hearer.

The Loss Of Federal Funding Will Be Delaware’s Stature as an “Ad Hoc” Sanctuary State.
Senator Carper should not be sniveling and whining about losing federal funding for environmental projects. He will lose our funding himself as well as Delaware’s Socialist Liberal Leadership for becoming an “Ad Hoc” sanctuary state.
The citizens of our state have had to pay the price far too long for illegal aliens that have entered our great nation, in spite of our laws, under the administration of an underachieving slack-jawed President Obama.
Delaware’s Liberal Leading Henchmen gladly jumped aboard the “Free-Wagontrain” of federal grants to our state, as long as they supported the “Sanctuary State” bandwagon that Obama forced on the American people. Well folks, the free ride is over for those of you who benefited in many ways at the Delaware Citizen’s Read more

The death of Officer Floyd is a tragedy, whether or not he was one of the abusive guards who is a disgrace to the hundreds who go in there and try to do their jobs properly ( and I hear that he was ). However, it does not surprise me. Having SEEN what goes on in our prisons, as I posted recently on our website, two words can account for most of the prison problems: NO ACCOUNTABILITY. Unless and until guards and others, like medical staffers, who commit crimes from property theft, serious neglect of medical problems, to filing false reports, to outright uncalled for brutal beatings of inmates, are PROSECUTED, we will see the same problems.
See our website, on "Prison Abuse" articles for much more. What is needed is not some "Commission or Task Force", and not a federal investigation as a colleague suggested. With such an investigation Read more
Saul Alinsky’s book. “Rules For Radicals,” was first named “Rules For Revolution,” and has caused untold controversy since Alinsky published the book in 1971. I realize that one diary will not be enough to communicate the content of destruction this book holds for our Republic.
When I first bought the book, I vowed to read it cover to cover before donning my pencil to write even one word. Alinsky opens in the book’s prologue by writing, “The revolutionary force today has two targets, moral as well as material. Its young protagonists are one moment reminiscent of the idealistic early Christians, yet they also urge violence and cry, “Burn the system down!”
Alinsky’s tactics were based not on Stalin’s revolutionary violence, but instead on the neo-Marxist strategies of Antonio Gramsci, an Italian communist. Relying on gradualism, infiltration and the, “dialectic Read more

MOVING FROM REVOLT TO RESOLUTION
Finding a Path Forward Through Collaboration
First and foremost, our condolences and prayers go out to Sgt. Steven Floyd's family. Loss of life under any circumstances is unconscionable. I believe we all prayed for an outcome where there would be no loss of life and again we mourn along with everyone affected by this.
We have spoken briefly with the warden at the James T. Vaughn Correctional
Center and expressed our interest in working with him in particular and the DOC
in general, in partnership with our NAACP prison branch to resolve any persistent
issues highlighted by the demands made by the prisoners involved with this
unfortunate turn of events.
We hope that as the investigation moves on to identify Read more
